It looks more contraceptive than aviation. Pagen, does your Canberra grip fit the standard yokes which come up on evilbay quite regularly? Some lovely posts on this thread, thanks everyone.

I think that’s out of the back seat of a master, this link might work:

Here’s my Scimitar stick. Intrigued by yours Tony. German, but what. Will retire with a Manfred Griehl book of photos.

Very nice indeed! It looks like someone has screwed the brake lever bracket onto the wrong side though. My luckiest find was a Spit undercarriage indicator in an antique shop about a mile away from home.

The historical responsibility point was very well put Geoff, I’ve been putting together a Spitfire panel and in the process have pretty much destroyed, bit by bit, a complete oxygen regulator from an RAF Mustang.

Well there’s no corrosion to treat, Denis, just a little bit of imagineering. I’ve got a Lanc second pilot’s yoke which needs a similar amount of work. One of the days.

My personal opinion is that originality is everything. Keeping the existing parts as patterns to produce a perfect replica from, without the originals disappearing under paint and filler. The two could be displayed side by side and would inform each other. That’s just me though.

The unknown looks like Gazelle, but with an added trim switch. This was probably over the odds but you can’t take it with you… 330429968909

A good day out but freezing cold and blowy. Traditional British bank holiday. Lots of stalls but not much to take the breath away, Air Ministry’s Vulcan stick looked nice but although reasonable a bit too rich for me! Although I arrived at 7.45 there was someone who had already bought a Meteor panel. Last year it was Rocketeer with a Meteor stick. Early birds etc. Found a bare Hunter stick top and a gauge for my Lynx panel (off the guy with the Meteor panel, I must have looked that dejected). Matrimonial grumpiness stopped play at 11.30.

Same here Tim, yours is a very memorable piece from BoBTaN. Chris, yes, Blenheim and Javelin, also Belvedere (I think) Scimitar and Meteor. Collected through cheapness more than rarity, the Blenheim being the best price of all…

They did release a cover version a month for a whole year, but missed Mustang Sally. Good try.
