Could it then be the inner end of the flap, next to the fuselage? In the ‘Mushroom’ Stuka book there’s a good photo showing 7 rivets and the same rounded shape, just bigger. Camera battery is charging so can’t pirate the photo just yet!

Good to see a pice of Stuka not attributed to Fishbourne Creek! Certainly looks like flap end rather than wing tip. Scaling off model plans could be proof.
Would the paper be offers of safe surrender? Come to our side for lunch bowls, towels and guitar based entertainment… It’s an official German document.
Just googled, Passierschein is indeed ‘safe conduct pass’. Part of the bomb load on the Stuka?

Very nice Fly.Buy. no international postage but will make an effort there!
Some are a little ‘marital’, Redhill, and there are the odd comments by visitors! There’s been a gannet stick on German eBay which could not be put on a decent family shelf.

As a child I borrowed these books from the library and pored over the big colour pictures. Now look what’s happened…

Nice yoke, Mark. Always good to have a badge in the middle! The Apache grips appeared to be American rather than MoD, unless we bought bought a box full by mistake. Surely that could never happen…
Beaufighter VI, I’m long out of grandparents but would have happily swapped one for that CR42 stick. It looks more fast jet than biplane. Good luck with obtaining it.
Idle googling found some downloadable pilot’s notes, with these attractive images:
    I’d love a Hustler grip…

Here’s the (AV8B) throttle, doesn’t look a perfect fit unfortunately. Astonished by the prices of Harrier cockpit bits, I had my eye on the weapons controller just listed on ebay, £200 in an afternoon!
For similarly salty prices see here:http://www.lanceaircraftsupply.com/t6stick_grips.html#
    And the French site: http://www.comptoir-aviation.com/
I enquired about prices, the F8 Crusader examples are over 400 quid.

Nice panels there, very exotic 188 and very big Wessex! It’s a wonder some of these aircraft got off the ground with the weight of instrumentation.

Interesting link, Fly.Buy. as gyd pointed out, a couple of wrong uns there, A10 and Corsair aren’t correct. There is another French site which sometimes has exciting (and expensive) grips. Le Comptoir….will link when back home. The google earth walk around French shop you posted a while back was high on eye, if not wallet, candy.
Rwsscarb, I’ve got a mid life harrier throttle grip but I think it’s more AV8b than FRS 1. Will post a pic when home.
Can’t see the attraction in repro grips and yokes. Especially when they cost more than a real one!

Amazing link, thanks for posting. So much dead technology. Spray paint graffiti isn’t a Western affliction either.

    Cheers Mike and Rob.
Not really a new acquisition Rob, it’s been coming together slowly and as cheaply as possible for a good while, stating with the flap lever recovered from P7533 under Birkenhead Park.
I think this forum makes an impressive virtual museum, there’s quite a volume of stuff on here and no one has to sit in a draughty shed on a Sunday afternoon! Specific aviation related Google searches often end up back here.
The Sea Hawk panel is now very nearly finished (needs a correct alt) and deemed attractive enough for the dining room shelf:o

Here’s the latest version of my Spit Panel, based on a MkII. It would look better if could get the whole thing in a laser engraver. Lots of the text is still missing and screwed on labels don’t look right, with the exception of the ‘Beam Up/Down’. The temp gauges are Rocketeer repros and the trim gauge one I’ve made. The gun sight is also far too low down.

I’ve made a few labels and parts for my Spit panel. There are sometimes spares…

My first guess would be flare chute hatch. Mk1s had a lovely stainless hinge on them, perhaps this was fitted before they were phased out?
You’ve been finding some corking stuff, Jules. Well done!

That German site is astonishing. I wonder if it’s assembled photos or an actual collection? Nice centre cap there Robbiesmurf. A new French grip arrived today, just historic by possibly being from a Mirage F1 (it could be something else but is dated September ’82 and is serial number 015). Couldn’t resist a comparison pic with some other SAMM grips. An unlikely ask, but does anyone have a spare Jag trim hat?
