Displays like that are nice, but you can’t always trust the label!
This brightened my afternoon…

Thanks Jack, PM sent!
Thanks for posting the scans Terry, they are very useful! Seems a slightly later version than mine, no Rocket assistance control. Thanks for the link Pagen, my shopping list is expanding!
Same here, must be the XH558 factor! And they’re a beefier grip.
there seem to be more B2 grips about than B1, but the the B2s look nicer so sell for more (as far as I’ve seen). Which have you got?
Thanks Pagen, pilot’s notes would certainly help. I’ve got one AP illustration in a ‘Warbirdtech’ book, but it doesn’t have the key to the numbers. Having had a bit of a fiddle with it tonight, the screw holes under the UC selector are too small for the screws which fit the UC indicator. The bottom right hole also had a scrap of paper label stuck to it with 6A/4246.
I’ll live with the wobbly needles for now Bruce, but will surely be after you for left and or right hand panel gauges in order to expand ‘soon’.
Just found 6A/4246 is the adaptor plate, not the gauge that goes in it. Bums.
Cheers Pagen, now what does CofG twin needle indicator look like? There seems lots if B2 info out there, but precious few B1 ones.
Vulcan panel
Just picked up this very grimy B1 centre panel. The UC indicator will move to the middle (Thanks Mark) and googling has found a pic of the cabin pressure gauge which might fit bottom right. Can anyone advise what the other missing gauge looks like? Time for some hard toothbrush action to see what is under the filth.
An impressive trip! Look forward to seeing (some) more pics.
Impressive looking dig. Looking forward to seeing that yoke cleaned up!
The late Peter Foote dug that one. Not much left, only labels!
