I’ve got an A-13A/ something but a stamp covers the last bit of the label. The ref is 6D/1583. It’s a size small dated May 57 with a small mike, just as your illustration. Looking at it closely the rubber is cracking badly which is a shame.

In a continued showing off vein, and no longer in service so historic. Jag HOTAS stick top. It’s many buttons and flippy switches make me smile. I’ll be sorting out a better spindle for the base as well. Enormous screw etc…

Here’s the S2F wheel. It arrived cheap and naked  so the centre cap is a repro and the buttons are similar without being right. It is very small indeed.

Nice wheels FLY.BUY, you don’t see many of them on ebay! Interesting that they both have the same (control lock?) white downward arrows as a B17 yoke. On the size front, I’ve just got a Grumman S2F yoke, it’s so small I thought it was a toy one. The yanks clearly don’t skimp on power controls.

Please tell, Andy. Seen them but never knew where from. On a similar theme, where in the gun bay does the ‘ aircraft must not be flown without either guns or tunnel plugs…’ label go?

Must have been a freak wormhole in space linking 1947 to 1940.
I think you’re right, Nick. A quick look down the threads and I’d say Wyvern. Becoming a common item!
Sounds like an excellent idea, Tony, and a good excuse to visit the museum.
I do quite a nice trim gauge face and needle, as well as labels…
A lovely day out and a very promising event. Looking forward to next year already!
