Nough said. Look no further than the U.S to see who supplied what to Iraq.

    RE: figaro

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-02-03 AT 11:04 AM (GMT)]Let NATO die. It’s been nothing but a U.S tool to control Europe for over a decade now. Bush and co think it is supposed to be there to pay for U.S adventures abroad.

Britian should be removed from the Union and the EUs military structure expanded. On the flip side, I think Spain should be dealt a finacial blow by Germany/France when it comes to it’s asking of more EU sudsidies. Hell no one is telling them that they have to fork over their soul to receive the tens of billions of Euros Europe has graciously given it, but these back door cloak and dagger things it did with Britain deliberately undermining the EU must be punished. Like Gee said, Berlusconi is already on thin ice in Italy, and he will most likely not see another term. Poland too practically begging for EU aid while at the same time disregarding it and siding with the U.S over it should also be taken into account.

    RE: North and South Cyprus?

Sorry JT, I was speaking in the vain of there not being a settlement. In that case, I don’t think anyone will really deny that many Turkish Cypriots will leave for good, possibly to Turkey, but more likely western Europe.

If there is a settlement, under Annan’s plan, about 80,000 Greeks would return to about 8% of the north, and a large number of Turkish settlers would return to Turkey.

    RE: North and South Cyprus?

As soon as the Turkish Anatolian settlers leave the island, and the 200,000+ Greek Cypriots who were expelled can return to their homes in the north, then the sky is the limit for Cyprus.

As it stands though, the Turkish military (the real power broker) is 100% behind Denktash and his hard line no compromise stance. I don’t see the Turkish north (or more precisely, Turkey) accepting the U.N’s plan as the Greeks have. So February 28 will come and go and the Greek part of Cyprus will join the EU as the recognized government. Turkey can then kiss the pipe dream of EU membership goodbye and might be forced into becoming the 51st U.S state.

The Greek Cypriots will get even more rich while the Turkish Cypriots (the real ones, not the settlers) will all but vacate the north in search of real lives elsewhere. Ironically, the ones who will win the most are probably the Germans+French who do not want Turkey in the EU (this will give them a reason to say ‘NO’), and Poland who sees Turkey as an enemy in securing billions in EU aid.

    RE: favorite pc games

The key for that level is speed. Have squads 1 and 2 composed of riflemen+support men with their minimi’s.

Squad 3 should be a lone sniper. As soon as the mission starts, move squads 1 and 3 over to the canyon on the left flank and use squad 2 to move through the one on the right flank. After you take out the opposing forces on the ridges, position your men on the side(s) of the canyons and simply rain down the hell on those T series tanks. Make sure your squad on the right canyon take up positions overlooking the pathway up from the gorge or they will me taken out by enemy infantry looking for cover from the onslaught. Watch out, as some may even try to flank you on the right side by taking the long way across behind the hill on that side. A good place to have your sniper is on the right side, where the bridge starts. Put squad 1 on the right side, farther ahead of the bridge, on a little ‘ledge’ like flat surface. They’ll get good vision on the whole of the advancing armour/infantry and can do so while lying down making them almost impervious to enemy fire. Those AKs aren’t gonna do jack to them.
