Words fail me right now, as it’s been said before these people have got to be sick to do this sort of thing.

This stuff not only makes me very angry it also makes me sad. Sad not only for those whose sacrifice we are remebering but also for those veterans still alive. What must they think?

    Words are still beyond me.

Don’t be afraid to speak your mind on subjects like this, as you say we have to remember the people who paid the ultimate price. As long as we as a scociety, keep patting these scumbags on the back and telling them politly not to do it again, the more of this s–t we are going to have to put up with.
1914 -18 and 1939 – 45 far to many good honest people died so the do- gooders can throw away all they died for. Priorities in this country are all wrong, political correctness rules over common sense and the thieving, graffiti scrawling, mugging, murdering low life get all the legal protection.
If this post gets pulled, you’ll see what I mean. But I think even our moderators feel the same truth be known.

    String them up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you expect in this A&ÂĢE Wipe scociety, the do gooders say you cant touch the B—–ds when you catch them. Name and shame the w—–rs. As you can see this sort of thing really gets to me.

String the t–ts up. If you don’t agree, thats life. Get used to living in a s–thole.

Attached is a photo I recently ‘found again’ Three Mossies from 39Sqdn based at Kabrit in the Suez Canal Zone 1951. Equipped with the NF36, the squadron carried markings either side of the fuselage roundel, sadly not on these a/c. My father was flying in one of the a/c. Are photos like this of interest and is it worth putting up ones that have deteriorated so far?

    Bring em on –

    I’M WAITING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can’t believe I only found these piccies today – mighty fine Avro’s Finest! As for your “apology”, may I refer to my comments on another similar thread – ARE YOU MAD! they’re superb pics. I think any of us here would gladly part with various limbs, teeth, first-born etc. to have such an opportunity, let alone get any decent pics to share.

Do you have any with Sqn/Ldr Ward driving? (I trained with his son Steve so I got to hear alot of “war stories”!)

As for Papa Lima – I am disgusted by the vile filth you have chosen to post and for the lowering of the tone. You should be ashamed of yourself! Got any more? 😀

Sorry. The Bomber captains where Tony Banfield, Chris Booth and Colin (top bloke) Patterson in my time..

Fantastic pictures Avro – real “in the thick of it” stuff!

Could you tell me whether the ditching photos are all of the same incident (2 obviously are) or are they seperate incidents?

    Dean

    Hi Dean.
They are all the same, all 4. Pilot got out OK, battered and bruised but OK.

    Glad you enjoyed them.

    Steve.

Great pics of fabulous aeroplanes! 🙂 I have to say though that it turns my stomach to see deck landings that go wrong.. 🙁

Jack did say he was picked up, a bit the worse for wear, and very wet but OK.
