That kind of trust would take a century minimum. Currently no South American country is trusted enough for the F-35 and a lot of them are far higher up the food chain than Argentina.

Argentina cooperates more with the west and normalizes relations with the UK
gain enough trust for the US to sell them F-35. Buy the carrier from India.
