This kind of cargo i think should be sent to a military airfield when there transiting through the UK Middenhall or Lakenheath.
How about Brize Norton π or they could send it to MSE π

Great shots Tom off LGW. Must come up to LGW sometime:)

There is a need for a services on the M11 but there should be more junctions as at the moment once you go south past duxford you cant get off to turn around etc until you get to stanstead.
Why they dont put a MSA further south near the A11 turn off would make more sense and would get a lot more business than having one at junction 10.
The problem is they want to cater for the more traffic users coming and going off at jct 10 and i would bet the bulk of that traffic would be going to the museum so stopping flying would ultimately be cutting of your nose to spite your face.

Thank you for update π As I dont go on the M11 much I cant really say a good place for services. But putting them by DUX I dont like hope there is something that can be done about it.

I’ll answer them Q’s via PM.
Other news is that some new freight services may be starting soon.
Note that Esperia has made the front page of this fridays Isle of Thanet Gazette. Pretty much saying what is on the website although they want to start the charter flights this October with the scheduled starting December.
Some more cargo cool. I wonder who it is hope it be DAS:D I would really like Cosmos/Monarch to do Charter flights from Manston and maybe LCC to some places.
James
I dont see why jet2 cant do a eastern europe destination e.g turkey, cyprus

The plan is to have her in the Aviation Museum hangar at Hurn, but as a flying exhibit, like the majority of aircraft there. She will (hopefullly) be flying fairly regularly.
That way, museum visitors can see her on the ground, and get to see her taxi out for her flights on a regular basis.
We are also looking at putting together an exhibition room about her history (and that of the Gnat generally), the Arrows and formation aerobatics in general, and the restoration project in words and pictures.
It will make Bournemouth Aviation Museum pretty unique to have such an exhibit and info centre. π
But, most importantly, her exhibit stand will not say “This plane used to fly with the RAF…”, but rather “XR537 now flies as a display aircraft, following a restoration project, after many years of service in the RAF…” π
…and we won’t need the Airfix sachet of hangar dust to sprinkle on her newly-painted wings…
Sounds good hope all goes to plan.Caint wait to see her Flying coming down to Dorset next week and in three weeks time hope to make it to the Bournemouth Aviation Museum:)
