Given the current proliferation of nuclear weapons, including ICBMs to the likes of North Korea, the only future is to neutralise the effectiveness of all nuke delivery platforms.

SK will have to increase its trade relations with Russia manifold. the primary focus of Russia modern weopon system is to squeeze money out of wealthy countries. so it has to very large stock ready cruise missile in all platforms in all sizes capable to strike all regions of the world and even small ships in Caspian. the next stage is to deal with Japan.
they know Japan cannot afford modern and complex military stuff in quantities.

In which case you could consider the S-300,S-400 and S-500 as sitting ducks as well? An air-launched version of the MGM-140 ATACMS could do the trick – dirt cheap as well

what kind of fighter will carry ATACMs and what range, speed? MIG-31 is fighter with unique characteristics. its low G airframe allows stronger longer life.

This is the most effective weopon ever produced. it is combined with high speed of MIG31 with high speed missle. there are many more MIG31 for group action strike. in one takeoff can easily be 100 missiles and with several sorties per aircraft in a day making it several hundred missiles. all fixed target like airbase or airdefence sites. big warhead.

I’m pretty sure that one way or another Germany isn’t going to get in the way of this deal securing jobs in UK

well they are cutting back. it may reach to point that Typhoon will have to be sanitized from Germanic parts.

Kuwait is different case. It is Sauid and its greater middleast policy that is harming Germanic exports and making it even more dependent on Russia and China.

Then they get built elsewhere, I would assume.

how they are going to built elsewhere? it will slow down the project and make it more costly.

Kinzhal seems to me to be the sort of weapon system that US, NATO and other well-equipped navies have been arming themselves to combat against for last 3 decades at least? Kinzhal – easy meat for Aster, SM-2, SM-3 type missile?

there is no evidence that even export downgraded Mach 3 S curve Brahmos can be intercepted and that is 40 years old technology with several thousands purchased by India. Kinzhal export speed is Mach 10 and who knows real speed Mach 20. West simply cant compete with Russian wonder weopons.

No disagreements there….. Nor am I finger pointing solely at Russia. We have a current situation of two egotistical narcissists in control of nuclear arsenals. Maybe it’s time to start a new round of arms limitation negotiations.

I have corrected sever times before. Decisions are made based on supercomputer at Kremilin. nothing related to ego.
I am sure much more information will be available to computers which look similar like this. and when you don’t have that wide scientific breath and try to produce every thing complex it create a lot import dependency.

Science education figures are indicative, Plekhanov wrote. Currently, US educational institutions produce just over half-a-million graduates in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. In China, that figure is already 4.7 million, and growing.

I was hoping Status-6 was just “We can make this – but dont make us” type of weapon. With the news of testing from several sources, modifications to the subs and the official confirmation of its existence, it is clear they are very serious about it.

physics is not a very attractive profession for the best so better utilize them before they retired.

I find it absolutely, utterly, insane that in almost 3 decades since Cold War practically nothing has changed on the nuclear front.

why it will be change when Nuclear power industry is Russia key engineering export.

But what do i know, i am just a goddamn hippie living in Norway.

that I agree you don’t know obvious from that one liners in T-50 thread does not have much.

So all US diplomat now tasked with preventing Russian defence contract ? I wonder how does that work , Russian customers mostly are those who would not any way buy or denied US arms , there are some like India Algeria etc who would procure both from West and Russia and then is Indonesia who would want some kind of barter payment method.

if Russia withdraw from India market. let see how much price gouging India will face and with lack of independent exercise of military power India will lose in to China. Algeria main airforce and attack choppers Russia made.

small country like Japan it so costly.

    https://www.japantimes.co.jp/opinion/2018/02/21/commentary/japan-commentary/false-promise-missile-defense/#.Wo2ffUxFzIU
The PAC-3 is deployed at 16 locations in Japan. But the PAC-3 is said to be capable of intercepting an enemy missile within a radius of less than 20 km. This means that more than 99 percent of Japan’s land area is not covered with ground-based interceptor missiles. Failure to shoot down just one North Korean missile with a nuclear warhead would have devastating consequences beyond imagination.

    Interesting

yes it should be able to shot down Rafale in quick moment incase there is rogue pilot in Rafale against Egyptian government. just like what happened to Turkish F-16s.

Did Russia sell the JSR AI (or A-low-I) bot to the Chinese in the past month or so?

He seems to be pushing the Chinese product almost exclusively now.

first understand technology before reply. Its Russian engines and Air defence systems that are exported to China and incorporated into there advance products so Russia has good idea about the aerodynamics and weights of there products and hence materials.. Chinese are leaders in supercomputers and quantum technology.
They did the advanced anti-missile exercise using computers.
Chinese do far less tests of hit to kill missile in space and still hit the target. it means highly advance computers and manufacturing. there is no flaw in the process.

China says test of midcourse missile interceptor successful

Plus J-20 and certain extent T-50 will enter service with far less prototypes and still aerodynamically and materials technology wise far advanced than F-35. again influence of computing technology.

Numerous reports about the repelled attack in US controlled Kusham area a few days ago are saying more than 200 Syrian militia and Russians killed in the bombing. Reports of Russian deaths are now mounting with some reporting dozens killed.

You should carefull about reports as those various leaks create pressure from bottom up on Putin to act tough and justify whole transformation of Middleast and that may be the reason for associating every casualty with that one strike. regarding rest of predications you will be surprised.

They will exactly know the rcs of fighter under various external loads. what are those supercomputers. All these data is part of whole integrated network of SAM system.

how you do simulated computer anti missile exercise unless know all the characteristics like direction, speed, altitude and rcs of attack missile.
