so how many years aerodynamic development left based on this display. as you seem to predict every plane aerodynamics even if the manuals can be fake or for export.
Egypt and Qatar got 10s plane without any TOT … how well they use for training as compared to IAF. It shows you dont have much idea regarding Indian problems. Your logic is flawed. Rest you can continue with your assumations.
They bought 24 and 36 planes I believe with weopons, support and training. so why do you think there training will be less? same French instructors will be teaching them in advance simulators. both of them has used western planes for decades and I believe there crash rate is far less than IAF even for M2k.
TOT is separate issue. it has nothing to do with purchasing planes.
Given enough time Russia can complete the PAK FA. What I wonder about is whether there will be money available to produce it in numbers that won’t leave the Russian force structure a hollow shell. This is a variation of some of the same things critics have said about the F-22 and F-35 of course, but in Russia’s case the argument has a lot more weight. The US and most of those buying the F-35 aren’t in the midst of an economic crisis.
this is called economic crises. stimulating demand externally. as more wealthier population moves to US. the bigger will import from Asia/Germany and more stress on resources from water to Agriculture to energy. so less export and more import and hence more need of foreign money. give it few more years like this than Chinese/Arab/Indian/Latino will completely change the demographics. .
http://www.cnbc.com/2015/07/09/
Chinese are now the biggest foreign buyers of U.S. housing. They poured $28.6 billion into properties in the past year, more than double the investment of number two, the Canadians, according to the National Association of Realtors
Post 2020 is very favorable to Russia when T-50 in mass production. Norway/Canada/Middleast Oil industry wont survive $50 barrel. one has higher cost problem the second has higher population growth and lack of water problem. with current trajectory Russia can afford just about any thing and still decrease debt levels.
India also rejected F-18E in favor of Rafale. They contionously buying Su-30MKi when Su-35 started production. they have very poor insights of prices, production rates, capabilities.
This new approach to develop PAK-DA.

Russian Tu-160M Modernized Strategic Bomber To Have 60 Per cent New Components
I think this program will be implemented without fail. We thoroughly analyzed our capabilities before adopting it. The industry said there will be no problems with the Tu-160 reproduction,” he said
By 2030… AMCA or whatever new name will enter into early SP. Slowly we are reducing imports and it will continue to decrease.
I don’t think AMCA can enter 2030. T-50 flew January 2010 and by 2020 it will be in final form. 10 years for well funded and well experienced programme.
your short of money and technical capacity.
this is post 2030 era. there is no chance of water intensive industries like Fabs. 2030 planes will be full electronics.

Hard attitude of French, caused India to reduce its intension to order from 200 to 36 planes. At the most it could go up 54. If French wants to win profit with hard bargain, so India wants to save money as we are not super rich country.
I don’t think they have hard attitude. see how quickly deals with Egypt and Qatar.
Similarly Russian, wants to have 6 billion only for development without India involvement. And it caused us to lower our intension to order.
So you can keep bringing unrelated discussion without any added value.
Is this $6b confirm or just speculation. I think 5G fighter $6b will be technology transfer cost.
If 2015 have any signs then I doubt there will be any FGFA. If PAK-FA is not inducted in IAF before 2025 then what is the point of having it at the first place.
Things will get clear, lets wait till Dec, 2015.
You will be inducting Rafale 20 years later than French airforce. There is nothing wrong inducting T-50 10 years later than Ruaf. infact India has inducted C-17/C-130 at tail end of production.
Back when this whole thing kicked off India was supposed to buy 200-250 airframes, and contribute billions to development.
If India is indeed both scaling back its acquisition and cutting off the development funding it is a big deal. (programmatically, this says nothing about the Indian criticisms that suggest dissatisfaction with the aircraft itself.) That will certainly drive up the costs of the remaining airframes, potentially forcing India and/or Russia to further scale back their own purchases… classic death spiral.
Russia real inflation is very low or negative when you look housing, education, health, energy/material/water costs. on top of that T-50 is being built in multi functional factories. assembly line people can be shifted and costs continuously lowered regardless of production number. that’s why Irkut can make Su-30MKI cheaper than India.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft has unveiled a plan to reduce the cost of producing the Superjet by $2.6 million per aircraft by replacing Western suppliers with Russian manufacturers.
this big market. in less than 1 year they will afford a lot.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Iran is holding active talks with Russia on the purchase of at least two types of military aircraft, Iranian Vice President Sorena Sattari told the Russian Kommersant daily.“The relevant talks are going well,” Sattari said, adding that he cannot give any further details on the possible contract at this point.
this IAF procurement. where are those A330MRT/A330 AEW. on top of that there are no sign orders for F404. They still need to sign AH-64/CH-47.

Moscow confused as IAF puts fifth-generation fighter on back burner to buy Rafale
A defence ministry official says that, in its eagerness to obtain the Rafale, the IAF has deliberately placed holds on every other aircraft procurement, including the FGFA, the Tejas and the plan to extend the Jaguar’s service life by fitting it with a new engine.According to this official, the IAF aims to create the impression of a dangerous shortage of fighters, so that the government buys the Rafale quickly. In another volte-face, the IAF has proposed that the FGFA not be co-developed but limited numbers of the T-50 fighter be built in India.
Israel spends between 2.5 & 3 times as much, including foreign aid (mostly from the USA, but also Germany, which is paying a third of the cost of the Sa’ar 6 ships, paid for 2.5 of the 3 Dolphin class submarines, etc). It also has a lot of stuff provided without payment, or at low prices, such as the large conscript force, things paid for from other budgets which in Norway are counted as defence spending, & a lower domestic price level. So in real terms Israeli spending is probably more than three times Norway’s.
And then there’s the Norwegian navy. In tonnage, the coastguard alone dwarfs the Israeli navy.
Dont forget wealthy Arab funding for Israel. Israel defence budget is much closer to Saudi than Norway.
where are people who said RVV-BD is not for MIG-35.
Oh yeah, my bad. I forgot the insignia on his mini-sub is that of………SPECTRE.
your not understanding economics. Russia want to be sole owner of Arctic. it means permanently finishing Norway and Canada industry.
Russia will be joining fracking.

Russian oil major sees growth undimmed by price war with Saudis
Russia, for example, lacked the know-how to build long horizontal wells, which were crucial to help unlock the U.S. shale reserves. At the moment Russian firms could build wells up to 1,000 meters long, whereas the need was for at least 1,500 meters, he said.“These are the tasks that we are giving to local service companies and we hope it will be solved. We need to switch our brains on and keep on working,” Yakovlev said.
Plus many more nuclear plants for Iran. when you built so many plants it means Oil and Gas is free to export and complete collapse in prices for long time that Arab states will simply melt down.

Only confident leader has ability to splurge money on 5G fighters, missiles and bombers.
RD-1700 has been kicking around for nearly 15 years*, initially as a contender to power the MiG-AT. Its newest incarnation, the RD-2500, with uprated thrust makes sense for import substitution of the Al-222.
There’s a ton of claims coming out pre-MAKS regarding what super-duper brand new project they’ll shortly be working on. Perhaps the Russian Ministry of Finance should intervene with a reality check: WTI crude is headed below US$40/brl with no prospect of any sharp rebound- especially when Iranian sanctions are lifted and their crude compounds oversupply.
The Russian government needs at least US$80/brl to balance its books (and the economy has already entered recession) so many of these projects will remain ‘hot air’. Even the beloved PAK-FA faces serious delays if the Indians cut their order, preferring to purchase ‘off the shelf’ and hence choose not to release their share of the US$5.5bn ‘joint R&D project’.
All these wunder-weapon claims are becoming cringingly embarrassing.

Russia is not interested in high oil prices. thats why it will even participate to increase Iran oil production. its recession of market value not of actual production.
This is 6 year old map. things are much more different now. tell me where the new fabs, agriculture and industrials possible. Russia gov is very confident of completing all military military projects much better than any one else on this planet.

only 9 operational after 9 years into programme. very slow delivery.
At this point, I am 10000% sure Norway will reduced the F-35 procurments.
There has recent been a review of our military spending and the picture is crystal clear.
Without a serious increase in budged we simply cannot sustained current infrastruktur as it is.
And then the whole F–35 spending comes on top of the already hard pressured budgets to Army(upgraded MBT and CV90), Navy with new subs and further weapons integrations for our expensive Frigates.
norway SWF is now $836b. another stock market melt down and it will be gone in less than two years.
