Israel has been pretty good in canceling or witholding sale of weapons to Russian enemies, which is a good set of deals between the two. Russia had the assembly line for Searcher drones but that is over. Russia is now keen on their own development. But Israel still can export systems that can be a concern for Russia if they sold to Russian enemies.

Israel withholding arms exports is irrelevant they cannot export them in quantity to countries like Georgia and Ukraine that can threaten Russia. Russia can get much better drones from China in much higher quantity from China. i would predict Russia fight with Israel will greatly increase energy prices. there is simply no lossess.

Reading facebook group… I wonder why some people keep thinking that Russian SAM’s in Syria will shoot (or have to shoot )anything for Syrian. Where were SyAAF or their air defense. and Later blamed the S-300’s for “not intercepting” whatever Israeli shoot at Syria.

It’s in Russia interest to engage Israel unless some thing under the table is delivered by Israel.
Where else you get free training for airdefence crew than intercepting incoming missiles . Or they can help Syaaf MIG-29 with electronic support.
