i presume (shout at me if i’m wrong) because LHR is too central from many of the players (who live out in the countryside), LGW too far South, and Stansted too far East!

Luton is still in the south (where many players and most of the officials live, and is kinda ideal for links for players from the North – can’t c the prob with EMA tho – suppose the officials might

Bhoy – You should know that little scottish teams who play in leagues with one competitor aren’t gonna get much to go to spain in! In fact why didn’t the management choose to HIRE, yes PAY for something better than a 146 to make you happy!

hi all – the big 3 options have been outlined – from the top of my head the Astraeus was delayed til about 1510 or something, so if it was later n it’ll b likely to have been this

What time – both runways were used at somepoint today…

Was it approaching or taking off – you notice this over Bradford – i’m about 5/6 miles to the west and c anything on a POL1X, NELSA1X, WAL1X and 75% of the arrivals onto 32 route this way

Another possability – Ryanair? Maybee a B738 on the run – unusual but not too uncommon!

Ambitious expansion plans seem to be at the heart of the airlines problems. In truth the MD-83s and Tristars should of been kept rather than operating 1 expensive A340 and a couple of 737s, which would of saved a lot of money and based on predictions could of helped them survive the turmoil the aviation industry was in.

to add my twopence into the equation, does it just seem to me that BWIA have been having severe probs with the A340s recently with several european opertors flying on there behalf – Martinair B763s and an Air Atlantic Trisatr springing intially to mind – could this point problems with the A340s – a cheaper option in to use Ad-hoc flights?

what about Swissair? – or was that just the Subsidery Balair?

Air Scotland don’t operate there own a/c – currently it’s Air Holland B752s after a fall out with Greek operators Electra

anything that makes a lot of noise i would – i’d probably plan a day around seeing those noisy B732s if they didn’t fly into leeds!

not much, just a couple of biz-jets Dan, seen ya pics of G-KKAZ on a.net from the other day along with all Pauls – you didn’t get the reggies of the Croatian Airbus and the white A300 of Qatar on Monday did you? I seem to have missed them off my pad!
