I agree, i work for a charter airline and get annoyed when i hear people constantly moaning about Charter flights, i’e poor food, lack of legroom, delays.
Why moan when you have probably paid next to nothing for yr holiday. Travel on a schedule airline and im sure the price of yr seat would be more than yr whole charter package. You get what you pay for.
exactly – you get what you pay for!
I love Lo-co’s – over a 2 hours flight i dont really care how much leg room i have as long as its within legeslations and safe. If i want food i can take a pack of Sarnies a bottle of coke and a bag of crisps. If you can’t b bothered making them THEN u pay the £1 per can of coke etc. They have opened up air travel to the masses.
I can never understand how people moan about this sort of thing. If you want to go to Majorca on holiday with all the added bits – fork out the cash and fly via LHR with BA in buisness class!!

nah, 75’000 travelling tims were a credit to the club in sunny spain.
Here here! – I’l agree with you on this one – not only a credit to the club but a credit to the country – unfortunatly a minority of our “Fans” sorry thugs, give every football supporter in England a bad nice, time and time again…
that must have been one of the last years Monarch actually flew regularly into LBA! – i certainly can’t remember them since 1998 except on the football charters or covering for MYT

Obviously!I’m not entirely stupid, hence the reason I did actually state that in my post before. But it did not fly to several destinations in the USA, just New York.
sorry to point it out (wont comment on the Stupid!) but it did regularly fly to Washington and Miami for some years – i’m pritty certain of that!
BRILLIANT!! Great pics there Skycruiser and Whiskey Delta – keep em coming!
yep i was initially going to take a pot at this company before i was offered my more “local” position to home.
Interestingly on http://www.aviationjobsearch.com they are looking for Junior Cabin Crew as well those with previous experiance. Unusual for a new start-up to provide initial training – usually they go for those that have the experiance – most have a big buisness plan!
Kabir, ok they may not have the home Market they are establishing themselves as one of the worlds classiest airlines, which Travellers enjoy flying!
40 A380s initially sounds excessive, but remember BA fly OVER 50 B747-400s. They will end up using A380s to feed the hub from the likes of LHR for connections throughout the world, and the A380 may also do away with stops at Singapore for the Far Eastern/Oceanic markets
good news – at least it’s not another airline (and great liv) to disappear from our skies!

Mongu,
Macedonia (or Makedonía) is a region of Greece up in the north east area on the boarders with the actual country of Macedonia and Bulgaria.
ah now i see! On my way down to the eastern greek islands (Rhodes, Kos etc) Makedonia control is often online before i’m passed back over to LGGG_E_CTR
i presume the a/c will still be delivered to the lessors?
and heres an El-Al example – a great looking Liv this one…
below in enclosed a Balair B752 – I’ve seen these before at ACE – B757-2G5s i think they were – sounds like they were aquired from LTE.
Hows about EL AL? They’ve operated a few – or are we not counting them as European?
thanks for that steve – another tragedy averted
