yea nice to see oneworld using some intiative. Should b good news for Glasgow!
great pics – yep the latter was of interest to me!
Thanks for pointing out she was an XR not an LR – i thought the LR was Long range – presume the XR Is Xtra-long!
Also some 145s have Reversers on (speeking in this case of the Portugalia E145EP on lease to bmi and based at Leeds), whereas the bmi fleet don’t – these been EUs. Whats the other differnaces between these varients – i get easily confused!
heres on of the bmi ones at dusk in Dec 2001 (G-RJXD i think!)
Ren theres a thread on FLYPAST on the subject which you may find interesting
Benair – you remeber the newsgroup i knpt nagging at you about… lol, well i got LBARULES to sign up the other week. Often Andy Bowden from Leeds ATC or another fella called Gavin whos on Airfield operations will post the news. Still not sure why she was upgraded – perhaps the returnin sunday of Spring bank? Maybee the A320 went tech!
thankfully no-one looks to be seriously injured. Any ideas on what went wrong yet?
Callsign “Jetsfly” (obviously they do!!!), 3 letter code FJE
very sad news indeed. One thing that unites us all in the aviation community whether it be as a worker or enthusiast is a tragic inncident such as this.
Looks as if the show is going ahead still tomoz
Steven Grace wil prob have 1 on a.net as he lives next to the airport. If not i’l get u one from a lba2 forum member! 90% sure i wont b able to get up there for it 🙁 shame as it’l prob b landing on 14 if the winds dont change!
yep they’ll do for me – i prefer seeing these originals – some are the case of been in the right place at the right time, or in the trade etc – as with Whiskey Deltas!
Keep em coming – can’t wait til i get my scanner!
yep heard earlier today ETA 0940 departure ETD 1040, although i reckon it’d could be a later departure as it’s larger than the Usual A320
Cheers neway
i like the blue one best on the JAT liv – sad day for Concorde :(. Also i’m sure i’ve seen a pic of a B727 in Aussie with the new liv on before – will try and source that data!
yep, there were only the 3 survivors, i seem to remember on been called Precilla Torado of something alike, and a middle aged man. Theres been a few progs, black box had about half an hour on the accident
great shots there! Esp the E145LR – I think the Stabalon are the two “pokey outti bits” (technical term!) underneath the tailplane on the B1900
The multiflight one depends on if the employees have been playing with it – sometimes its zoomed right out and facing the worng direction
Scud – what u reffering to with this a/c?
