    nice one US Airways – glad to see Shannon getting flights back in – seemed to suffer a bit after the 11th Sept 11th downturn with a few airlines pulling the plug

    nah shouldn’t have been no quotas or anything…

    Looks like Electra could be the next airline to disappear from our skies… as for Air Scotland we shall wait and see! – Good improvisation there by BAA with the de-icing truck!

    i like bransons theory on seat sales – basically he would Aution them off – highest bidder wins if the seats are going empty – he’s rather operate making a smaller profit than leave it empty and take a chance at somebody needing it on the day and paying full price – i like the idea!

    no Probs LBARULES- You can often get some short notice arrvials data from a couple of airport employees – ones an ATC officer and the other is Operations Planner for the airport

    e.g. if i wanted to go on DECEMBER 30th in w/c DEC 29 – at 1200 27R would be for landings, at 1800 27L would be – mite b useful for some of you photographers

    why can’t you have mobiles on inbetween stepping off the a/c and going through baggage reclaim – i got a right rollock in off some security guy who thought he above the world – rude and agressive, but then i did kinda put him down 😉

    Then there is the total lack of letters that gives way to some strange ones like MCI for Orlando. In the USA you also can go into numbers because of the number of airports, however, this system is only used on airfields etc.

    MCO for Orlando and i’l solve that one for ya! – it used to be McCOy Airbase (MCI is Kansis btw)

    like teeside – MME stens from its RAF history as Middleton St George
