i think Monarch operate some scheduled flights from Luton
i think it was a B747-136 (G-AWNC?) Which was subsiquently blown up!
what would the competition be like on the Dublin to Liverpool/Blackpool/Liverpool routes be like with Ryr – whenever the MAN services were reduced, LBA went back up to 4x daily – and when MAN went bakc up to 5x LBA went down to 1x! – we’re now back to 4x btw now!
cheers – i couldn’t find it in the 3 pages of posts that i was looking throught – as said earlier market saturation is something they’ll have to be careful of – on the positive side i presume LBA will be first choice diversion with bmi mainline already having a base here! – another consideration for the arpon extension i’m crying out for!!! 😉
yea i stand corrected – Ryaniar will have to be careful – they were involved in the Finningley proposals i believe
I flew BY B763 on Weds! – reports still to come – no PTVS but immaculate a/c G-OBYD – only been repainted and refurbished less than a month i believe! It was a sub a/c which i was a little dissapointed as i was hoping to fly my last B762 G-OBYB – i’ve done all the rest!
Fairly comfortable nevertheless
The B762s are also pritty good for there age!
I’ve flown in one – GDRAR now G-JIVE. Shes in a red/blue livery and if you want some pics i can send you some prints to look at in the post. have your tried airliners.net searching throught the filters?
probably G-RAMI – Operated by Heli-jet at Coney Park now – http://www.helijet.co.uk
I flew in G-DRAR a MD500E which was re-registered G-JIVE and involved in quite a serious accident a year or so after! – wierd!!
Hi all, just got back – whats the latest on Meigs?
cheers Wys for that…
yea i like red/green combinations like the old air wales one
we’ll have to see how they come out after the war!!!
