i’m gonna b there!
and another point of view – what if the pilot was in the same state as the eqyptair suicide pilot a few years bak – ok if he wanted he could crash the airliner, but might seek more attention himself if he wanted to hijack the plane using a weapon as a motive – ok a rare shot but nethertheless a possablilty
i was the same as most of you, but i’m a couple of years older. I can’t afford to fund my own flying for the moment so i’m taking a contract i’ve been offered as an Ops assistant at a leading UK Freight company starting in August after my A2s and fund my own private flying. My dream was always to fly the big jets and i suppose it still is, but as the cashflow goes ths may not be a reality for the short ter future – we’ll have to see long term when i’ve funded my own PPL etc!
Yea sorry about the shortness – i’ve been quite busy clawing back some cash at work as well as getting on with my A2 level coursework – thats got to get the priority
For you lot i got a fair few reggies whilst i was away and enjoyed standing on the end of 03 at GCRR with a few a/c passing litereally feet over my head – the highlight definatly been a very low Iberia B752 EC-HAA.
Got a lot of spanish and german reggies – finishing off the Binter Canerias fleet and adding a lott to Air Europa, Iberworld and Spanair, as well as Condor, Aero Lloyd and Air Berlin on the german front.
Unfortunatly (esp for Dan330) i got my camera nicked on my first thursday night including approx a dozen pics taken with Dan330 on the thurs morning, so as i borrowed a friends digicam – hence no more plane shots to stop the embaressment between the lads!
thats what we had for the Lanzarote trip – then we spread the discount between us – so in theory everyone got £30 off for example
Frank: well tbh the ones on airliners.net will be of a better qualitly prob, but i do have several differant views of the a/c if it helps – i’l try and get them scanned by a mate over the next couple of days, if not i’ll send them by land mail to you,
GYZL: Yea it was 2000 when i flew her – she diverted into Coney due to an emergency at LBA – a Robin 200 had to make a forced landing in a field half a mile off the end of 14 and there was no fire cover. The next day she needed to be positioned bak into LBA onto Heli 3, so i was invited to fly her on a jolly around the local area. Apparently she is now registered to a company in Sowerby Bridge, but i haven’t heard he on the scanner for a while or seen her at LBA, suggesting she may be based in Sowerby Bridge and possably covered by Pennine Radar upon departure
http://www.aaib.dft.gov.uk/bulletin/oct02/gjive.htm here is an AAIB report i found on the a/c last october when she was involved in an accident
suppose that’ll be the the -300 then to cover for the A310?
Ren, you should be able to still use the a/c from FS2000, but they would appear in a folder named Unidentified on the a/c file listings as it should be able to pick up any older files that came with the original and previous copies of fs prior to FS2K2
I’d say have a crack at it before you get rid!
Just a thought
doesn’t the rwy look short at this angle!
Andy only wants the richard bit – hes not bothered about the stewardesses 😉
Euro Atlantic as in the Portuguese L1011 Tristar operator?

Yip, I meant to say that. It was one of a batch of ex-BA 737’s when pictured, but at least one has been back to GLA since for maintenance.
maybee some type of warrenty on the a/c?
Kuwait = Oil!
