LOL – That makes 2 of us in both senses!
yep sounds good – i think you were upgraded from the B733 to B737 due one of the Astreus a/c (G-STRB) is operation on behalf of Iceland Express!!!
i’ve seen the spoilers deployed a few times – most notably in steep desents – B762 last year inbound GCRR – also when “Santa” was supposed to lad on our a/c the pilot slapped out the spoilers and slowed her right down!
reports are that even on the one rouet operated so far loads are better than expected – we’ll see in a few months! 😀
lol – yea btw webmaster y was i subscribed to ALL topics i posted in plse? – the password thing was a bit of a farce too – but i dont mind a short-term inconveniance for the better in the long run!
3,000 posts – speeks for itslef – well done!!
strange – how long have they been operating the A320/321 series – not long at all really and they’re allready looking to dispose. The 3 types B734/5, A320/1 and BAe 146 could all have alternatives provided by airbus with the A318/9/20/1 series, yet they cancelled the airbus order – with the financial sitation could this be due at all to do with Ryanair?
Yep saw the review on carsurvey – like the notes at the bottom!
😀 HEHEHE – Looks pritty good 2- just a revamp of the old1 – hopefully without the probs!
RE: What aircraft will I be on?
See – told ya so!!
RE: Most Memorable flight?
hehehe – hmmm let me think
MAN-TFS-MAN-AGP-MAN – 2 Days jumpseat, Boeing 747-146 (TF-ATE) with crew pass – enough said! What a week that was!
RE: Amusing article
Very true – the latter one was quite moving if you look deeper into it
RE: planes
skypilot – so do u fly the J41s up front still – i seem to remember hearing something about the ATP too
RE: What ‘planes are stored at your neares big airport ?
Yep its by the Airtours Beach club hotel i think – the hotel has its own runway if i remember rightly. I think the aircaft is actually Vickers Viscount in a handpainted airtours colouscheme i think – does that sound about right?
RE: unusual fact!
yea this was a topic of convo not so long bak and we had a couple of pics – i think the tale was started with the General Elctrics B741 Testbed a/c that they keep putting engines on for testing.
