RE: Aircraft numbering question
this number stays with the a/c throughout it’s lifespan, whichever airline it transfers to – for example Ryanair had Boeing 737-204ADVs which are ex Britannia, -230’s ex Lufthansa – and the B747-146 i was on last week was ex JAL

RE: Why do I always have to check in idiot customers at check in
We had 2 pillocks on the CC461 on sat from Malaga which was quite amusing – the hold was opened to search for their bags and we had just put in for an hour atc delay when they turned up – so the purser put a slightly embaressing announcement up announcing when they boarded – and where were they sat?? – 4th from last row on an all economy 741 😀 – passing 350/400 snarling tourists who were now late home to the UK!!
RE: Accident at EGBB – Birmingham
Ahhhhh – i saw that last week a couple of times at egcc – NEW C/S TOO!!
RE: Accident at EGBB – Birmingham
Right got more detail – it was a B767 inbound from Manchester that has run off a high speed taxiway. It sounds to me as it was a positioning aircraft that it was probably a britannia plane, maybee a MyTravel a/c but less likely. Only the flight crew were on board and nobody was injured.
Many inbound flights are been diverted but a limited number of outbounds (likely to b smaller a/c) are continuing at a limited rate. Likely airports for Diversions if any East Mids, Coventry, Manchester and possibly the London Airports.
See what else comes up
RE: Snow!
