depends on what type and how they aquire them – i was on a -146 in full economy config ex JAL, and the company operated -267s on lease from Cathey Pacific – so if theres a spare capacity as there is in the US on the 747 classics it might just be the right time to start-up!

Most airlines do then – i’ve got shite loads bak – u’ve just got to push and push – also a hint – it sounds bad to say, but there are thousends looking for each position on a sponsership course so i’ve learnt to keep my data to myself cos u r only creating more competition 4 yourself if u reveil all!!

depends on how badly damaged the a/c it is. If it’s just a damaged engine and pylon, a new one could b flown out with a repair team to fix it on site, or alternativly Iberia Maintenace as locals may b contracted to send a team by road to do it.

I’ve been observing the flight crew – today was indeed on ex JAL B747-146B TF-ATE, as the pic shows. Departure was normal from EGCC down to GCTS and there was loads of stuff in – even got a russian IL-96! :d

Landing at Manchy was gr8 fun – we were in the hold over mersi and came in to land 24R – thru a huge thunderstorm causing one near Strike of the a/c, but the CC453 landed safely after great work from the F/O who was the pilot handing. Tommorow is Malaga on the same 741 n i will let u know how things go on!

Come on ppl – ok i understand the seat pitch idea but some of the others???

Food – Pack yaself sum sandwiches n do it cheap!!!
Drinks – Can of Coke or a flask of Tea??
In flight entertainment – a good book/magazine, a walkman n watching the world go by??

u can make it sound as bad as you want but i dont think seat pitch would b ne worse than BA world traveller economy – or ppl wont go 4 it!
