    Centre – United Fifteen twenty seven, did you hear a company, errr did you hear an aircraft on the frequency a couple of minutes ago screaming?

    UA1527 – Errr… Yes 1527 and we couldn’t hear what it was either.

    Centre – OK – United 93 if you hear the centre please ident.

    AA1060 – American ten sixty and we have a ditto on the other transmittion.

    Centre – American ten sixty you heard that also?

    AA1060 – Yes sir – err… twice

    Centre – Roger we heard it also and just wanted to confirm it wasn’t some interfearance.

    Centre – Execjet nie fifty six go ahead.

    EJ956 – Yeah – we’re just answering you call we did hear that yelling too.

    Centre – Ok thanks we’re just trying to figure out whats going on.

    UA93 (Foreign Accent) – Hello this is your captain can everyone please sit-down and remain seated because we have a bomb onboard. Thank you

    Centre – Un – errr… Station calling Cleveland you are unreadable – say again slowly.

    Unidentified a/c – Centre did you hear that last transmittion from an aircraft say he had a bomb on board?

    Centre – Say again – was that united ninty three??

    Unidentified a/c – Centre that transmittion you said was unreadable sounded like he said he had a bomb onboard

    Centre – That’s what we thought we just didn’t get it that clear.

    Centre – Was that united ninty three caling??

    Centre – Execjet nine fifty six that aircraft we believe was transmitting is in your twelve o clock at one five miles – turn left heading two two five and I’ll get you away from him.

    Centre – Ok he’s climbing so I want to keep everybody away from him.

    EJ956 – I think we have sight of him.

    Centre – ?? Ninteen Eighty nine, he’s fifteen miles southbound at Forty-one, turn right heading one six zero.

    EJ956 – Nine fifty six – we had a visual on him just stand by.

    EJ956 – We did but we lost him in the turn

    Centre – You can make a turn back to a two twenty heading and let me know if you can see him.

    EJ956 – He’s still there – we got him for nine fifty six.

    I watched it in our caravan as i’ve been away with sum m8s – and it was moving – especially for them that didn’t know the whole story.

    btw i have the atc recordings of the flight.

    Duthcy betta watch out!! – in Lnazarote i caught Flu off a m8 and by the time we were coming home the symtoms were starting to show – and by Hell did my ears hurt – even after landing and thru te nite – i ended up at the emerg docs with it and the flu – it was horrendously painful – and been a walking disaster area (god help me if i get to fly!!!) i know pain!!

    Probably have a contract with the Airport operators – i.e. Long Term benifits – lower landing fees etc – similar to AIH based at Manchy – they use T1 and most of the others use T2!

    😮 – darn it – i was going to go up to NM today n all – we usually get a few – if MAN has low lying fog we are clear – and vice/versa – we get hill fog a lot in winter
