well on a Sat Leeds has about 6 EMB-145 flights to JER as well as B735 with bmi and a VLM FK50 – so mist of em will b LBA flights!

Although it’s classed as a STOLport, the xtra weight required with the fuel may put some of the further “charter” desitinations with even a 146 out of reach.

EC-135 G-BXXV has been and gone – it was sold to S. Africa and when was owned by Multi flown from Cullingworth. The S76 i think u are referring to is G-MLTY which is actually an AS365 Dauphin II which is still there.

this has cropped up befor and it seems to b a case of excess capacity in too small an area. Within an hour or so’s radius u have Manchester, East Mids, Leeds and Humberside as commercial fields. – and if the latter 2 are struggling to increase pax numbers then Sheffield has no chance!

Hi all
I did mine at a company GYZL shud kno – Heli-jet just on past the airport at Coney Park heliport.
I did 2 weeks on R22’s n B206 Jetranger 3’s – but cos of a crashed Robin at multiflight the airport was shut one afternoon and we got the diverting helo’s – one of Multi’s R22’s, MD-500E G-DRAR of Readmans and an Allouette II. I got about 2.5hrs flights in MD-500E, R22 and Jetrangers – brill!

Hi all,
I can not see MYT withdrawing the 757 in the near future – the main reason been they bought a 6th last month! i’ve flown 2 in the last year G-JALC and PIDS. I know they have 2 based 752’s at manchy (JALC and ?), and PIDS rotates between Bristol in the Summer and Leeds in winter, with Leeds getting based A320’s and quite a few ‘w’ pattern flights (talk of 2 based MYT 320’s nxt summer).
Also MYT flies 4 A321’s of which i have flown G-JSJX in summer 99 to GCLP from EGCC – others off top of my head are DHJH, VOLH and….?

Yeah it will include RAF Tornado GR.1, F3, Jag, BAe 146, 125, Tristar, Nimrod, VC-10, Eurofighter, Concorde, Herc – cant remember rest – will be in 3 ship formations flying at 310Knts – will b routing direct over Ipswich if there’s any southerners about – like my Grandparents!!
