I think teh currant and last BA colours were very smart, and liked MOST of the world tails that were applied to the first few re-painted a/c – they apllied individuallity to the a/c
the Britannia logo is actually the TUI logo – u can c it if u look as these are the almost sole users of the a/c – although it does look like an open bog seat!
just to clarify there are two airlines – they used to be run together but now are totally seperate – Binter Caneries are based at GCLP and do inter-island flights in the Caneries, and Binter Mediterreno are based at LEPA.
u were right about last years been AIH titles n skyservice basic c/s, but the a/c the year before was C-GTDB which was AIH Painterd tail one side and plane blue the other with red cheatlines!!! 😛
I believe it was the central fuel take been left empty for this short internal flight leaving it full of vapours. On the shorter segments the wing tanks only are pressurised. If before take off the tanks were not pressure stabled then at high altitude the tanks can expand and heat can build-up, or sparks from a stray wire can cause a catosrpic explosion.
Leeds is alrite – the Cemetry at the end of 14 is prob the best nowadays, although u can stand by the tunnel (lack of parking facilities) or make u’re way onto “Spotters hill!”
