    They dropped the route last winter as part of the oneworld alliance with BA – they have a 6x daily BAe J41 route instead of the Aer Lingus 3 x Daily Fokker 50s. Rumours are a EMB-145 upgrade for the LBA BA routes – DUB, LGW, DUB, ABR, IOM and Soton

    After my recent ear-bashing over Ryr i am pleased to announce they are going to revert back to 3x daily on the LBA-DUB route!!

    Hmmm – would love to see it but somehow i don’t think it would end up working – the improvements that would be needed would be massive – if the Victor doesn’t go on the main dispersal somehow i don’t think the infrastructure is there yet – maybe one for the museum as a one off would happen – along those lines does anyone know if Duxfords Runway is capable since it was reduced in size?

    It’s an optional request – u have a choice of meals and pre-bbokable seats – i.e. guarenteed to be together if u r a group trip

    My ma says when we first flew AIH 5 years ago it was a 5er – and when Monarch tried to charge a 10er my dad said he would actually pay then a tenner to be sat away from us!!

    Look at it this way – all your start up costs have been paid – all that you now have to pay for is the raw materials and the personel to put them together – the rest is a profit – u sell about 20 a/c a month (think that’s about the currant rate) – how many billions are u making a year for next to nothing in aviation terms???
