RE: British Airways Removal of World Tails?
I think it’s gonna be a gradual thing as the a/c go through the paintshop – i know new a/c are painted in the standard chatham dock c/s, but i think some of the Maersk and BRAL a/c may have had their tails resprayed
RE: Rebranding of Swissair/Crossair.
Taht was my nomination for a new c/s – suppose they can’t really do much else with the national colours!!

Hmmmmmmm – the old livery was smart, but if u got close up they were starting to look tatty on some a/c (G-JALC, G-TDTW and G-PIDS spring to mind!!!) so i suppose we’ll see quite a lot of them repainted over the winter!!
RE: Pic Of The Day-27/01/02!!

RE: Cessna issue
I remember been told about out Local Police helicopter doing rutine speed checks on vehicles on the M62 and the systems operator picking up something travelling at 300mph, it was a RAF Harrier which had locked onto the american built radar used to track the speeds and the Harrier had gone into automatic engage and tracked the Helicopter – for any of you interested it was the old MBB Bo105DBS/4 G-WYPA, now replaced by a MD-900 explorer.
RE: Fish
More from our “home is where the airplanes are” file…
A Navy officer was cutting through the crew’s quarters of his carrier one day and happened upon a sailor reading a magazine with his feet up on the small table in front of him.
“Sailor! Do you put your feet up on the furniture at home?” the officer demanded.
“No, sir, but it’s not the same thing, is it?”
“What do you mean, ‘not the same’?”
“Well, we don’t land airplanes on our roof at home either!”
RE: Cessna issue
Pull him for not having a red tail light 😛
RE: Competition
