Certainly something a little differant to the normal reading on here!
Humberside has regualr Cargo flights with Icelandairs B752s, however the lqst couple of weeks have seen the B752s replaced by other aircraft including Bluebirds B733s and the last few nights have seen TU204s – dont have the reggie to hand at present.

I had a look at their website this morning and am suprised by some of their destinations and schedules. Why Valencia? They will fly to Alicante and Malaga and don’t serve VLC from Coventry.
Valencia is served from CVT at present.

To be fair it looks like a fair hive of activity down there, but as it is only around 20 weeks now until the opening of the airfield for scheduled flights this is to be expected.
It will be very interesting to see what flights will be announced by TOM later in the week.

There is essentially a strong local market in the IOM; there just needs to be a robust and committed local operator. Emerald perhaps?
