The hertz aircraft is now looking in a real bad way with blue panels on the engines, cargo door and a white nose, with patchy yellow skin on the rest of the fuselage – hopefully they’ll remove it before 14th Dec as i would be rather embarressed in front of my mates if that pulled up to take us to Dublin!
Wouldnt look at SEN if STN services started which would compliment the VLM LCY service.
ABZ is already operated by AirWales on the CWL-LPL-ABZ run.

Gerona – is that the Italian one, because Barcelona one Gir/Gerona is served daily with B738, and Milan Bergamo and Rome Ciampino are already slated for Feb.
Charleroi was served for about 18 months up until last January time at which point they switched to Barcelona for the summer, but vowed it would return.
Either way theres going to need to have some more concrete layed. Summer at present would look something like 8x EZY nightstoppers, 1x VLM F50, at least 2x FlyJem ATPs (eventually), 1x BAL B752, 1x MON A320, 1x AAG L188 = 14 Aircraft, plus Emerald 748s, numbers of which vary and the nightly mail operation utilising Emerald 748s plus Aurigny ATR and 2x Channex F27 gives in the region of 20 stands required already. Around a third of these are remote anyway at present.
Air Wales, Aer Lingus, FlyBe and Wizz do/will not have any nightstopping aircraft, but once Ryanair get started things could get interesting if they expand at there usual phenominal rate! 4 aircraft to start with?
I have heard the large long-stay car park which has been open a year or so may be the next apron, not specified what for (Cargo or as a pax satellite?), but the airport only tarmaced it to earn some money this year rather than owning more grass! Other mootings indicate a terminal over by the tower – who knows!

Certainly is… i’ve just got back in from there. KLM hqve some great offers on for european destinations at short notice – usually around £125 which is cheaper than last min lo-cos!
First fokker experiances (70 and 100) and was suitably impressed!

There will certainly be more variety out of the window when i’m back in the office then!

STN-LPL would be a winner. The VLM to the city has been a resounding success, and the local Liverpool rag have now started another campaign to try and get a LHR link re-instated. LPL-STN would certainly be of use to me, rather than the slog upto BLK!
