I would have thought in a situation such as this there would be a fund organised by somebody such as ICAO to stop this from happening – for the amount of overflights it would only work out at a small cost per flight from all operators chipping into a fund to keep essential operations such as this running?

Its a shame that not many forum members on here are familiar with more than the typical UK airports – however much most of us contribute i would like to see much more conversation heading away from the typical EDI/GLA/MAN/LBA/LPL/STN/BHX/EMA hotbed.
Perhaps either of you could enlighten us a bit more about the history behind these fields?

Not too bad, unfortunatly it only ever seems to be EK32001 at CDG so i doubt i will see it for a while!
