No – the aircraft will probably have all arrived back at base by 1am, and not start departing until around 6am i would imagine, thats certainly the case with most other lo-cos!

I bet those strech DC-8s would be quite easy to put out of trim in a cargo config with such a long body!

Excellent news – Manchester certainly seem to be very active now in seeking Airliners for its museum/AVP area, a great addition to the RJX and Concorde!

I wonder how many daily secotrs those DUB based machines must do in a day – all the Uk flights will bne under an hours flight, with a 20-40 mins turnaround each time, could theroetically be as high as 12 i suppose?

Does that spell the end for your previously travelled 146 flights in the country?

Uk or foreign? UK try the CAA database known as G-INFO, other country databases are available for most countries.

Great stuff – especially the last one – wonder how often the Daks go into LGW and LHR nowadays!

I wonder also if the PIA B747 in the top piccy is still in service with them! Suppose its quite possable!

Arthur, srs 2A 748s can carry over 6000kgs – i think the top within our compqny is in the region of 6380? Not sure about those of other operators, or the srs 2B aircraft.

Not that i dislike the Fokkers – have been onboard several, but not flown on one yet.

I have however flown on the AN26, RA26120 last october which was an awesome experiance, up to Billund and onto Lidkoping, then direct back to the UK – an eyeopening evening to say the least, and hopefully i can get another trip onboard one in the near future!
