I have just found out that a couple of BA’s new A320s are actually ex Aer Lingus machines that are actually still quite new. Seems very odd to dispose of some aircraft and then get the same type again.
The a/c were actually built under an Aer Lingus order but they didnt take delivery of them due to their financial situation at the time, so BA picked them upo on the cheap i guess!
Good to see more Airbus orders!
ah sorry i see what you mean, yepo its the only BA Charter that regularly operates, and then there is the LPL-IOM run which they are running – for the moment!
No No far from it!
BAL Based B752
MYT Based A320 Suplimented by
JKK MD83 (at least 3x weekly)
JKK A321
BHA TU54
MYT A321
IBW A320 (Approx 3x Weekly)
Thats off the top of my head!
was the Jersey old folks charter – Leeds gets a BA Dash 8 as well as approx 7 E145 flights on a Sat!

But there’s not much to be seen at airports like Charleroi and Liverpool is there? Do you know of anywhere at Dublin where you can see the planes other than from the airside, because if I was intending to spend the whole day there then I obviously couldn’t wait until 2 hours before departure until I could get through to take some photos?
not much eh!
Sat from LPL (i work their)
EC-IJU
G-SSWR
G-EMBR
G-NIKO
G-EZYB
G-EZJS
EI-CKR
EC-HZH
LZ-HMN
EC-GVO
EI-CSZ
The above are what i log when something “differant” comes in –
G-BGMN
G-ORCP
G-SOEI
G-OPFW – Were the Emerald 748s d/s
Then there are 6 EZY B733s based, PH-RAR/T B1900s which run through (AT had an emerg landing on Sat), PH-RAQ ATR-42.
Those were just what passed the offivce windows!
I would check timetables though Martin as the EZYs usually come in at once from the Morining rotations together, then all go together and soforth for the rest of the day.

Sorry EGNM, I’m not willing to sell it at the moment. I’ll only regret it down the road, such as last year when I gave away 3 different Dan Air sickbags.Sorry.

I’ve got a Britannia B737-200 model. It is in the pre-TUi livery though, not the 1970’s/early 80’s livery.
:O:O:O:O willing to sell??? I had to buy a BY B738 as i couldn’t find the B732!!!
2 of the A330s are MAN based doing Washington and Chicago runs, the other is leased to SAA.
Leeds has had a few VC-10s in recently, and about May had a B747SP of the Royal Dubai Air Wing. Can’t think of much else atm!
