Nothing to get excited about – just a pressurisation problem – took off an hour later or so again.
No pax were on Oxygen.
Presumably to PEMCO for some alteration?
Correct, some work on the LFD which will then allow it to become G-CELO!
Great shots. I wondered where the white TF-ELO of Jet2 went.
Shortly off to Dothan in the States for a few weeks…
6 from Switzerland yea, but how many to Switzerland on the outbound leg with the same aircraft?
Wouldn’t do much for future bookings if each company cancelled flights willy nilly when they were running on poor loads either…
Been a while since I’ve been down that way, but I think MNG used to operate into LTN regularly, not sure about STN – perhaps it was inbound to LTN instead?
Tail looks alrite, but as with the general concencious, the body is a little plain.
Oh dear… how sorry the 748s look now 🙁
plenty of heavy metal there – no prizes for guessing who MYt have nicked the nosecone from then?!
Oh yea… so I was… off to Southampton – forgot about that one!
Good stuff Tom!
Magicbird are a seperate company which was set up after Magicblue wound up before operating any services.
The company’s aircraft presently operate under Atlantic’s AOC operating 1 aircraft on a Stockholm Arlanda – Sundvall service on behalf of the Swedish Post office, with a further aircraft which has been operating out of Italy for Atlantic / Italian Postal service, however this is now at EMA operating BFS services for the Royal Mail I think.
I believe they are hoping to have an AOC at some point early next year – plenty of work out and about for this type of operator 🙂
With several friends and former collegues working out there I wish them the best of luck!
I must agree it would look amazing in the full Jet2 colours,
Can anyone inform me of the base allocation for the fleet for the winter season?
Where are fellow members PMN or especially tomfellows – not seen them around since my return,
wozza
LBA 3xB752 6xB733
MAN 1xB752 5xB733
BLK 1xB733
BFS 1xB733
EDI 2xB733, 1xL188
NCL 2xB733
TFS 1xB752
STN 1xB733
EXT 1xB733
plus 2 of the B733s in OTP on mx at a time at present.
That’s presently as a rule of thumb – we float around during the week, such as today an extra aircraft is required in BFS so one of the EDI acft positions over to cover.
PMN btw is away on tour in Holland with the band.
Vaguely remember the old F27s at LBA, and the 146/F100s (poss from MAN) – The 146 looked great in KLM colours from what I remember.
G-BGYT was last seen in bits at the Manx Aviation museum in FlyKeen colours I believe where it probably still resides/rots!
I believe this is quite a recent video (last 10years or so) when the aircraft was on a one off ferry flight (as can be vouched by the Boeing / NASA partnership – I just wonder when the last time any of the crew had (if ever) flown that perticular aircraft type before?!?
A very sensable programme by the looks of the routes and frequencies there.
Best of luck Deano over the next couple of days (weather permitting)!
Great to read through this side of things – keep the good work up!!!
