Lockheed Martin was not taken over by Boeing, McDonnell Douglas was, back in 98. Lockheed Martin for some time now, has only concentrated on military aircraft, and will continue to do so.
Sorry yea! – i’m surprised no1 spotted it earler – i was thinking that the L1011 was build at Long Beach – home of the DC-10 which now build the C-17 and B717 – Dohh!
sounds Rasperry Ripple to me!!!
looking good that bmi are looking into other international oppertunities – they really are desperate to get the 3rd A330 a job when it comes bak around october! – UNLESS! They ARE FINALLY taking delivery of the 4th a/c?
FLA dude nice to see your – whereabouts in suffolk u from?
and do they class Kaliber as a non-alcoholic drink and give it free – cos thats what it is!
p.s it tastes like rats piss!
i have to say never seen a pic of the b4!
would be nice, perhaps we may see MyTravel going for something drastic in a couple of years with hops across the pond!
I’ve seen teh BAL flights for mext year – almost identical to this years – only change is we have one sector replaced with a AEA B738 as they’re doing another “W”n to HUY.
Seriously though in a couple of years i could see AEA asing an a/c here. They could pick up a deal with PlanetAir to fly there runs, and fly the regular runs in here – we must have them approx 6x weekly this summer

EGNM,Didn’t Air Transat used to Operate a fairly regular service from LBA or is that me imagining things? What happened to it if they did?
Yep they fly the B752 in through BHX to Toronto which was a Globespan flight, was previously operated by Wardair Canada B741/2s.
Air Transat got a better deal on bulk slots at MAN at the time and Globespan trasferred ops – keep been mentioned as a return!
good stuff! – keep em coming!
i noticed your plans on the website the other day – sounds like a good jaunt!!
unfortunatly there is very little chance of me getting there – still driving with the Red “L” plates on, and cant really afford to used public transport down there at this time 🙁 – i wouldn’t have minded goin as i’d have been able to go down the road to Ipswich and meet my gran, perhaps i can visit on a passing trip sometime
Great stuff – sometimes its nice to see the smaller stuff such as the bmi A321 and Lufthansa cityline RJ85 over the B747s and alike!
these artifacts are amazing – Snapper your gesture to these people is amazing
hmmm i missed this topic
Well i’m not really a lager fan (i do work in a pub and drink most of the waste – not drip trays, just barrell changes), but i’m not a fan of carling, as work sell it and i’ve grown off of it, So an Export or K 1664 is always nice, but the 1664 has recently been replaced by stella. On traveeling i do like Labatts in the next village.
My personaly favourites are my Loopy juice Carling Premier – hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm – the texture of a smooth ale, but tasting of lager – what an invention!!
Bottles – smirnoff ice black or red in alcipops – becks as a lager and i dispise Pils or Bud – nastyyyy
Not a bitter fan, although i will have hand pulled Timmy Taylors landlord occasionally, or a Turkey ale (local), and Guiness is saved for once a year – usually March, although this year we made it a bit later than usual due to otherf commitments – St Paddies session 😀
