hmmm i missed this topic
Well i’m not really a lager fan (i do work in a pub and drink most of the waste – not drip trays, just barrell changes), but i’m not a fan of carling, as work sell it and i’ve grown off of it, So an Export or K 1664 is always nice, but the 1664 has recently been replaced by stella. On traveeling i do like Labatts in the next village.
My personaly favourites are my Loopy juice Carling Premier – hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm – the texture of a smooth ale, but tasting of lager – what an invention!!
Bottles – smirnoff ice black or red in alcipops – becks as a lager and i dispise Pils or Bud – nastyyyy
Not a bitter fan, although i will have hand pulled Timmy Taylors landlord occasionally, or a Turkey ale (local), and Guiness is saved for once a year – usually March, although this year we made it a bit later than usual due to otherf commitments – St Paddies session 😀
no comment – errr webmaster can we have him removed – i think hes a health hazard! 🙁
glad to hear you have a good trip! “Just a B717 eh” 🙁
i too would have to go for the 4th – i really dont like the orange shade they use in the coperate liv!
i do have to hold my hands up and stick up for the -200, i dunno if its cos i’ve flown it a fair few times, and theres the Leeds based example but i do like it better than the -300!
thats a very interesting little route they seem to have going there! I’d love to see the Rokkef project take ahold!
enjoy it! – Presuming it’s BY – been on both the B762 and B763 fleet – not too bad stuff all in all my my 4 hour hops!
will try and remember to – for example in october the Atlanta flight i was on to TFS was a supliment to the other 2 scheduled TFS flgihts on the Friday as it was October half term – 3 747s as opposed to the usual 2 runs
Plane lands with engine trouble
A BMI plane has made an unscheduled landing at East Midlands Airport.
The flight, with 52 people on board, was flying from Leeds Bradford to Paris but was diverted when it suffered engine problems.
Emergency services were called out at 0810 BST on Tuesday.
The plane has landed safely and no one was taken to hospital.
The BMI Embraer aircraft, a twin engine turbo-fan, was carrying 48 passengers and 4 crew to Paris Charles de Gaulle.
One of the engines is said to have shown low oil pressure and the pilot decided to divert the plane as a precaution.
Engineers are now inspecting the aircraft and the airline is arranging another aircraft to take the passengers on to Paris.

btw the inbound a/c was ONLY 4 hrs late – not bad that bmi!!!
great news for EMB – also the EMB190 might have better landing characteristics for some of the regional fields that the A318?
yea some excellent shots there – cheers!!
Not really – i expect it’ll have been put on for the half term school holidays!
Duo Airways in the UK!
yep it’s an E145 – Not sure which atm 48pax it says – not a bad load on a 49 seat a/c!
hows about all the group members wishing to re-qualify chip in to allow the said pilot to hire the a/c for a short morings flying around 3 loacl fields, to complete his landings if he freely gives up his time to help them?
Or would that cause an riot!
