    u got it! – they also flew a few trips with concorde over Xmas to the Bahamas or somewhere with it!

    if u look closely the doors are staggered i.e. not above one and other for slide deployation – saw it on a programme on the Discovery Channel

    a/c, the same as cars are under warrenty upon purchase, so some of the defects that the manufacturer is responsable for solving are cheaper to bring the a/c bak to the maintainance facility than to contract out to 3rd parties. I suspect this is what the JMC examples are referring to

    sorry got em mixed up – whats happened is the Excel have got the ZS- Registered B738 fro South Africa and Astreus the G-BZZA instead of the originally planeed Norwegian a/c i think…

    My airline would be called White Rose International, after the VA i fly for which itself is based upon th e White Rose of Yorkshire

    Basing aircarft at Leeds/Bradford we would offer a fleet of B733s and E145 on European routes. The choice of B733 and E145 would support our 3rd party maintainance which would also cover the based bmi E145s (% and B733s of Jet2 (5 also).

    A good German link would be first on the oink, Possably Hamburg, and other Euro centres such as Copenhagen, Zurich and Vienna. The B733s would b operateed in a 2 class config, bu t with enonomy being in a full Lo-co config as opposed to Buisness class been a full service operation.

    A/c would be available for ad-hoc charters and have contracts with local sports teams and companies for ad hoc work, such as Leeds United and Bradford Bulls RLFC
