The Cuban A330 – Isn’t it from the same Swedish company as Air Luxor aqured there A330 from – cant remember the name…
they wont all use “Air Force” as a prefix – i reckon countries – Dubai 001, China 001 etc.
“Air Force” will be a registered callsign with ICAO just sa Speedbird, Shamrock, American, Kestral are with the commercial carriers
what do your collegues in the LH seat say when u pull out the digicam at the hold – i love seeing the results tho!
from my last message it was APU not PAU and Loud not Load :S
I think the AN-124 would have been carrying parts from the Bombarder range ironically built at Belfast City
i’l let u off this time!
5 of em – presuming you’re referring to the PAU which is almost as load as the 4 eng,… errr… thingimabobs on the wings

I love the 346 however i think Cathay Pacific has the worst c/s out of the 3 airlines that currently operate the plane.
Virgin, SAA, Cathey, Iberia so far i think = 4 airlines with the c/s on (dunno if the IB is in service yet though), i’d say Iberia is the worst!
Nice to see a Paul Arnold pic (Airsnaps) at Manchester – China Airlines/Air Jamaica!

Questions have got to be asked why the Control Tower never even said anything even if it was too late. Somebody really has to go into China Airways and have a good look at them and see what the problem is whether it be training or what. the same was done at Korean Air where it was found that the mixture of ex fighter pilots and normal flight trained crew was an issue.
I think the Tower actually did right if you think about it – an a/c is roaring down a taxiway at approaching 90/100knts. An aborted t/o on the taxiway which was HALF THE LENGTH of the runway, would have cause a high speed run off onto a non approved overrun area – personally i think this was more dangerous – even if a call came and the crew hesitated for a second now they were halfway through the scenareo could have been disasterous. Very very lucky

I really don’t know for sure Mongu but I’d hazard a guess not.Preston – I think it would be a very poor show to divert the flight for maintenance with pax on board. I should think it more likely that a re-route caused inadequate fuel reserves.
Sorry Wys it was actually a maintainance issue in the end. Upon arrival at Malaga the a/c had a poor breaking performance. I think the conbination of having a longer Rwy at EMA along with bmi engineering overnight proved to outweigh EGNM
OK n/p – would suit me better nxt week prob – revising ATM for exam tomoz and tied up most of the weekend!
similar story at Leeds – the CDG runs cancelled – no Nice today, thats usually cancelled with Jet2 if the French strike – interesting to note the EXS266 in from Malaga this evening diverted to EMA – Not sure on fuel state with possably a re-aranged routing?
My main theory was she’d gone to bmi mainatainance for some work overnight – pax busses to LBA
where d’ya get the Iberia one from – u can get it a.net but with much better quality?
found the flight number yet?
off to work now – will look tomoz or thurs for ya if u remeber the other!
enough people have done/do it in charter config B752s and B763s – heres thinking BAL, MYT (prior to A330), AMM etc to the US, Mexico, Kenya, Seyshells, Sri Lanka, Thailand – even as far as Aus!
