Yeah, PLAAF to establish exclusive pretty female Su-35S’ squadron:
:highly_amused: … good one !
…
Some photos of the Su-35 in China.
Regarding the Su-35 & China … I noticed that there is a report on that issue in the current Air International …. any new details in it ???
And a very nice family portrait of all prototypes flown in 2014 ! :highly_amused:
Sorry Rii, I can’t read the Welsh language. What does it say?
“construction initiation ceremony for 055 destroyer number 1”
Thanks to both … my question regarding the Indian “feelings” was also more meant to be sure what’s real behind, since it is indeed quite difficult to read and understand what’s true and what’s only BS !

By asking chair expertens on ze internet. 🙂
I am not sure if i should feel disappointed by the T-50-7 pics so far. Indeed, the cowlings have changed (excellent!) but otherwise i don’t see other changes. T-50-7 is stat article of “Stage 2” T-50 and that has been rumored to have significant changes, certainly in terms of structure inside as evident on the T-50-1 issues and the modifications on -1, -2 and -5. Hopefully they will eventually get rid of the metal area above the main spar. On one hand i was very curious to see the external changes, on the other hand i guess it is a good thing that atleast externally they seems to have mostly nailed things down. But, i guess will have to wait for better pics of T-50-7 or T-50-6-2.
….
Thanks … by the way three questions:
1. When can we expect to get a glimpse of T-50-6-2 ??
2. What’s the current status of T-50-5 ?? Even more has it been revealed what caused this accident ? … and can it e repaired a originally stated?
3. What’s the current status on the Indian version / FGFA ?? There was a lot of ‘noise’ in the Indian media/press about a certain dissatisfaction in regard to the information policy (particularly in relation to the accident of 055), rising costs, lack of participation and not a real technology transfer, so that at the moment only a MKI-light would be delivered,… everything else would depended on additional cost !

Large UAV programs are already happening, no will be about it.
Carrier is a long term project, nothing planed for the near future.
PAK-Sha was announced a while ago, not sure why that is news to anyone.
I don’t deny that these programs are “already happening” … I only have my doubts about the often given dates. If You look at some press releases or interviews with certain high ranking Russian militaries then a date “in 2020” is simply completely unrealistic ! That’s my point … otherwise I agree with You.
…..sorry its in russian, but apparently it will be very low observable and will come into the VVS in 2020. there are also plans to incorporate it into squads with heavy unmanned drones that sukhoi is currently working on
Sorry, but “will” be is the most widely used word in regard to Russian aircraft developments since years and with the current economical crisis in mind I’m more than skeptical about these “will bes” ! The same with the “will be” MiG-31 successor, the large UAVs, …. and the new aircraft carrier ! They all “will be” …

How would you re-build the Argentinian military aviation?
With Su-24 Fencer, http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/549006/Falkland-Islands-defence-review-after-military-deal-between-Russia-and-Argentina
Not sure but IMO this is simply a completely unreliable trash-report … why on earth should Argentina buy Su-24 ??? For what !?
Again something new but completely different:
Z-18A:The latest images (December 2014) suggested that PLA Army is evaluating its own version of Z-18 (Z-18A?) for high altitude operations in Tibet. Compared to the naval Z-18, the Army version has a further protruding nose section which resembles that of Z-20 and might reduce the drag during the flight. A terrain following radar and EO turret are likely to be mounted under the nose. It also has a SATCOM antenna installed on top of the tail boom for long range communication. Once entering the service, Z-18A is expected to replace the old and unreliable Z-8A.

How do we know that it is a JH-7B ??? … by these images, it is not a prototype but an operational bird with full PLAAF star-and-bar symbol …:confused:
Just for clarity, how many flying prototypes are we up to now?
Six … The two demonstrators 2001 and 2002 (now 2004) and 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2015.
