Was good to see them at Duxford but looks like you had more fun and got a lot closer to them. Lovely stuff.
Whilst on the subject thought I’d share this take on it.
Would love to see Coastal Command scheme or all white but am not holding my breath.
It’s got to be a hoax, otherwise I’d have started getting spam trying to sell it cheap!

It’s a pity you haven’t done the prop version, would be nice to see them together!:diablo:
Mars might be boring but there is plenty of space and where else would you be allowed to play with a RC buggy that has lasers on it?

From Tailhooker to Mudmover by Dick Lord, a nice combination of his career flying with the RN and the second part covers an exchange with the US navy, not got that far yet. Peppered with anecdotes of incidents and high jinks. Very enjoyable so far.

Only complaint I have is that it is only a 2 part series.
We need more of this sort of thing on tv. Very enjoyable and will need to watch again

I’ve been told that the receipt that 1 Sqn paid for their Spit still exists but there was a worry that whey they were disbanded last year someone higher up the chain might try to get a few bob for it. Saw it last year stripped down and glad it’s returning to the Squadron.
Now the question is will it be a new scheme or the same as the old one?
It’s going on the ceiling of a 4 year old, don’t think she will be too worried about the finer details of the conversion kit but would be good to get the colours right and I really don’t know if the decals that came with the kit will stand up to it, they look quite ancient.
Don’t suppose you guys know of any decal sheets to represent WR963 in the current scheme in 1:72?
We visited last week and my daughter had such a good time and it made a huge impression on her, so much so that that I’ve now had to pick up a model to go in her room but it has to this one!
So where’s the profile of it then? When I win the lottery this is going on the shopping list!
