Can you always blame the parents, we are trying our best and at the moment doing reasonably well, however little inky is yet to turn three, I’m sure as she gets older she will listen to us less and to her peers more, one of those sad facts.

I get the **** taken on my accent and where I come from occasionally, sometimes the jokes are funny, sometimes not but unless it was intentionally malicious or spiteful I can’t say I care.

There can at times be a fine line between comedy and hatred but a little common sense can (if present) go a long way.

The depth of your shallowness is astounding.

IFthe story is true, it would be rather funny to see the reaction on here once they do find one and dig it up.

I couldn’t do that. If I owned an aircraft I would have to at least visit it regularly even if I couldn’t fly it.

Sorry a lot to plough through and I came late, the costs listed are the American costs, I’m sure that in somewhere like China the trial costs would be much lower.

Personally I think the death is the easy option as the guilty party then don’t have to live with and reflect upon what they have done, look at Shipman or West, then compare their lifestyles to those of Huntley or Sutcliffe who I suspect are reminded on a regular basis of what they have done in the past.

As for deterring people, look at the harsh punishments dished out in some Arab states, people still commit crimes there knowing the potential risk.

One factor that hasn’t been taken into account regarding this is the costs, I have no idea on the figures but if someone like Sutcliffe had been executed, in the long run it would have saved the tax payer a lot of money.

Very cold and callous I know but practical.
