So where exactly is it being held, your back garden?

Iit’s so long ago, the youth don’t care or know,

I would argue against that point, as part of a project on web design I get my undergraduates to redesign one of a number of charity websites, this includes the RAFBF (can’t imagine why I added that one to the list!) and a considerable number of the students do opt for it, ok so they generally go with later variants of Spitfire but do know about the BoB.

Thanks to reruns of the film and the Spitfire’s iconic status there are those who still have an interest at a young age.

Sorry for the thread hijack and good luck with the show Graham

Whilst I don’t have anything to bring I’ve put a date in the diary and might have to come home for the weekend.

Is there a website or anything?

There is a company in Leicester that does true colour matching and has set the global standard in true light colour, sadly I can’t remember for the life of me who they are at the moment but I’ll try to find out if you want, they aren’t cheap though.

And the colours I originally picked are further off than I thought! Thanks for those.

Thanks for all that, I’ll post up the results once I’m done.

A lot of lanterns seem to use wire instead of bamboo, that is what causes the real problem to cattle.

I have heard reports of lanterns setting fire to crops but can’t really work this one out as if the lantern is still lit then it will generate heat and therefore not descend until the flame has died and the air cooled.

Pity the government didn’t read the book, might not have been so hasty scrapping our carriers.

Freelancing means weekends and holidays go out the window, Friday and yesterday spent illustrating a Sunderland, today it’s a XB-15 so not really had a break but can’t complain at the work.

But then this morning is spent watching Mr Men with daughter so it all balances out in the end.
