How long before we see the bucks drag racing :diablo:
Seriously though fantastic effort guys and I can’t wait for the next open day to see her running.
Thanks, people usually add the word Bullsh*t in there somewhere. 🙂
The term I’m used to is p1ss artist and I hope this is taken the right way but there is clearly an improvement over the early work which looks a bit flat.
I’ve seen a fair bit of colouring but normally it is just flat colours, not the variation of hues that you’ve used to make it look a lot more convincing, good work, how long did each one take?
Free education isn’t a god given right, far too many people go to university now, and free uni education went out with labour without this level of disgusting behaviour
Why isn’t free education the right of everyone, does that mean (taking it to the logical conclusion) that we are comparable to a third world state where no child has the right to even a primary education allowing them the ability to read and write?
I do not disagree with the number of students now at uni, sadly under the previous government the impression was given that everyone and anyone should go and I have seen a decline in standards as a result. It should be based on ability and for those who have the talent, it should be free. It used to be free so why shouldn’t it continue to be free?
Also read the last line of my post I’m fully aware of who put us in this mess in the first place, but I don’t agree with the solution as it is about far more than just the raising of tuition fees, that just happens to be the part that the students are focusing on as it targets them directly.
I would also like to know the percentage of those demonstrating across the nation who actually caused trouble and think it unfair that a few idiots who should be put in the stocks for a couple of nights are creating the impression that all students are violent. Most I know are too lazy to even turn up to lectures on time!

Two points, firstly at any large demonstration or protest there will be a core group who go along just to cause trouble regardless of whether they have an interest in the cause, then the media will focus on this and it damages the cause.
I also think the students have a point, what is wrong with free education for those who deserve it, time was when a grant covered everything and beer was under a pound, all those over a certain age, including all those in government would have been eligible for free education if mummy and daddy hadn’t set them up with a trust fund. Starting out in life is hard enough, getting on the property ladder is nigh on impossible without help, being saddled with high debts makes it even harder. They say that those earning less will pay less per month, but over the long run they will end up paying more than those who pay it off quickly.
We have seen the cuts that the MOD have received, my wife is currently waiting to find out if she is going to be made redundant from the NHS due to these cuts and I am anticipating losing all my teaching hours at university due to the cuts. In an effort to make the 40% savings that are required over the next two years at this particular university, we already have third years teaching lessons to first years and it counting towards their final degree, bad practice and saving money. Teaching time has been cut and as a result grades have fallen so the solution is to make the course easier (something I’m really not happy about doing but the bills have to be paid). Class sizes are increasing, 25 computers in the room, 31 students on the register. Talk of more online learning i.e. stick the notes on the web and expect the students to read it and teach themselves.
And the students are now seen as consumers who have to be appeased at all costs.
On the flip side don’t forget who introduced the tuition fees in the first place.

One small point, didn’t the roundel have the white ring until it was changed to all over camo with the GR3? Can’t you nip down to the hangar with some tipex Stacy?
I’m intrigued as to what the special tail was but think it will look great as it is.
Wouldn’t normally touch ‘doll scale’ with a bargepole but that’s cool. I want one please santa
.
Sorry due to the defence cuts you can’t have one
WOW, now that is a work of art.
Why not make one? A few templates, a bit of balsa wood or three, some sandpaper and paint, and Bob’s your uncle.
Not to mention that it could be easily repaired/repainted if necessary.
Just a thought, mind.
Might just suggest that to Grandad, isn’t that what they are for after all? But I doubt he’ll let jnr play with his RC jets for a few more years.
Doesn’t anywhere make nice solid wooden or plastic aircraft designed by someone who can tell the difference between a Spitfire and a Tornado?
Little Inky has a couple of inflatable aircraft that despite trying to eat them on many an occasion haven’t deflated yet!
At 2 1/2 I think she might be a bit young for the Airfix Vixen this year though.
I don’t know whether to be angry or to cry at the situation but thanks for the photos.
Ahh the beautiful curve of those distinctive wings, or have they been lifted from a Typhoon?
Thanks for sharing that, it looks very nice and interesting style with more than a nod to anime.
Can’t wait to see the finished product
