hehe i came in from nice on easyjet just as that one was taking off i was litterly crossing the end of the runway to land and out the window was this huge 747 just sitting there waitng for us to land got a gr8 view of her taking off she arced away like a fighter plane awsome!
there was the BA that got diverted cos of the strikes at heathrow and there was another that was a reserve aircraft for air atlanta that flew in from CUBA! to take some people to orlando cos there plane bust there 777 was one of the strike diverts too and there was also a 767
once again very nice shot mate
dude im doing a course on airline and airport ops at collage and it been confirmed that newcastle is now fully BOEING 747 capable just one at a time like on the end of the gate ways still jus that could bring in some big companies personly i wanna c virgin use ncl would be great to see a airbus a340 every know and then
damn right ncl on the way up! and if we get a route to the USA going we’ll be well on the way
there u gan then once she been stripped i doubt the french would have made new parts 4 her
now NCL on the other hand could easyliy handle that route were now fully long haul capable
the carrier was retired because she was too old for french needs all be it the foch was sold on but the foch was in better condition. she was needing more and more dock time to keep her running plus she’s loaded with asbestos which france has a real aversion too. She’s only just got permission to be towed to india for scrapping.
the aussies were her for the fleet review they got allover the place this summer
wernt the the same 747 that made an emergancy ladning at cardiff the other day
happy new year dudes keep the picture coming especailly ncl
i live about 20 miles west of ncl we had planes circling for ages and my mate who works at the airport said that the snowplows have been out non stop for the last 48 hours
