My usual MO with the hacker lads is to pretend I’m not that good at operating computers (don’t have to act that hard 😀 ) I get the lad to run me through what he wants me to do to download his “risky free anti virus” program, all sorts of things go wrong of course, accidentally shutting the pc down & having to wait an extraordinarily long time for it to restart, finally the exasperated lad calls it a day.

Quite true Bruce I was making a comparison with Spitfire re building costs, the last I heard it costs around 1 million to produce an airworthy Spit from a pile of scrap I guess re building a completely unique aircraft with two engines would be quite a bit more, either way its great that people are prepared to give money to have it recovered and preserved.

Wow thats almost enough to make it fly again, I wonder what the plan is seems allot of cash just to preserve it as recovered.

The plug I had actually had lodge Aero stamped on it so presumably made specifically for flight use.
