Industrial action, British aircraft industry, WWII? here we go again Allan are you applying some sort of accent that others cannot understand???
I think I’ll drag my drone out of the shed, its controlled by my computer so I can kill anyone I want at a distance, I have a target in mind just get my coords from google earth. As soon as I have done I am going on strike.
Well I can certainly beat that LOL, I never turn one down under £800, seriously though I didnt start as early as many of you, that Yeovilton video is airojumble porn at its best even the music is appropriate :diablo::diablo:
Where has all this stuff gone ? its got to be out there somewhere. My best bargain of all time was two oval top reflector gunsights for £100 1940 dated at yes youve guessed it Shoreham. And it wasnt back in the dark ages when I was still at school at least you lot make me feel young. :diablo::diablo:
Thanks Kev
All I can tell you is that he flew Sopwith Camels and that after the war he and his brother and the two Trost brothers set up Walcot airlines in Croydon flying Ju 13fs. Perhaps he never officially transfered to the RFC/RAF is it possible that he flew as a Lancer?
Is there any detail about his service?
There is a reference to the airline here http://www.europeanairlines.no/?p=umwxhfux&paged=3
Very similiar to the main panel of VP519. Is it for sale ?

I dont think so it belongs to a member of this new museam in Sweden. They have an awesome HE111 project seems to be lots of wreckage in Sweden.

The pilot I am trying to trace is Jospeph Kennedy passed out from Sandhurst in 1917 He was posted to 5th Royal Irish Lancers initially At some point shortly afterwards he went to the RFC/RAF however the records stopped at that point.

Nice one, Like a Pheonix, rises out of the ashes again. I don’t have enough stuff to sell for a stall, ever thought of catering for the normal folk by having some pitches for people who want to sell/swap stuff from their car boot?
No-one in this hobby is normal :diablo: there always seems to be a few unofficial traders wandering around, It reminds me of a chap who approached me with a 303, unfortunaltely i had just spet my money on two oval top gunsights at £50 each.:diablo:
I better start saving, certainly have missed it airojumble event of the year.:)
Thats interesting, I wonder what the hard labour involved? there is some detail on the web about Victorian hard labour but I wonder what that meant during WWII? They were certainly working hard any way, considering the poor rations and long shifts available in civvy street, I wonder how hard a punishment that was.
