We have certain areas in most of our Cities that even armed Police won’t, or dare not go down, some of the perps in said Cities carry guns and knives as routinely as you and I carry small change in our pockets

What evidence do you have for this assertion? The armed police part specifically.

Other than the Daily Mail of course

Yesterday’s man comes second. What a dismal failure.

UKIP’s share of the vote went up by 3.4% from 18.9%

    Labour’s increased by 2.5% from 59.6%

The conservatives lost share from 18.9 to 9.4%

So a ringing endorsement for Call Me Dave then.

An increase for UKIP but hardly the dramatic improvement they were suggesting would happen

It seems some chick watched all shows with macho chicks and took it seriously.

Nice to see you treating it so flippantly.

    Not.

Sixty three posts have been laboriously removed and we now have something resembling a discussion on what could become an immensely important issue for aircraft preservation and museums in the near future. There were some insightful and knowledgeable comments on deactivation and other matters that had to go. I apologise to their originators that these were swept-up in the general clearout.

Since almost all of my comments, some of which did comment directly on the OP, have been removed can I say again, on topic, that I am content for this EU legislation to continue as I am not convinced of the arguments against so far put forward. It is my opinion of course, others clearly disagree.

Rules for determining scale drawings for casting patterns?

Metal contracts as it solidifies, so if you want the part to be a given final size, you have to make the pattern/mould that percentage bigger to allow for the contraction.
This is mostly for sand and investment casting, I believe most die castings have a compacting stage that reduces this effect.
For example, if the metal contracts 1 part in 96 then the rule could be used to draw an engineering drawing for a pattern for a part cast in that metal.

If we don’t replace Trident, it could well be, that we will need an NHS that’s at least twice its present size.

I am genuinely unsure what you mean by this?
Would the lack of Trident replacement mean a war so more need to treat casualties? If a nuclear war, happened I think it wouldn’t really matter. Or are we going to get invaded?
Would the lack of Trident replacement mean people live longer putting added pressure on the system? Many people might be in favour if they were going to live longer?
Would the lack of Trident replacement mean a doubling of the population? How? Why??

And maybe £5 to see a GP, for those not on benefits. And fines for missed GP and hospital appointments.

Which in turn would require a further level of administration as the current system has no method of taking the money/chasing up fines. Who would do this-the surgery/hospital? the local commisioning group? nationally?
Not That I think either are necessarily a bad idea in principle, it is just how it would work in practice?

Having worked in a GP practice, I can assure you the admin staff are working flat out completing the tasks they already have.

I wonder how true this is, they might be going to a football match for all I know.

With massive crowds as large as 170,000 strong, Polish patriots marched through their capital to demand an end to Islamic immigration — the “largest demonstration in Polish history.”

Poland isn’t just going to take the Islamization of Europe without a fight. They are sick and tired of letting their culture be stolen away from them…so this is what they did.

First check out this incredible photo:

Did you hear about this on CNN? You did not, because they completely censored it from American eyes, lest they be inspired to stand up against Obama’s sinister plans to import up to 200,000 so-called “Syrian refugees”, despite the FBI’s warning that the Feds can’t properly screen them.

    Polish patriots?

    More like polish nazi’s.
Not all of them of course, but it appears the more extreme right wing people (thugs)who were there are not only anti-islamist, but anti secular and anti-protestant.

The majority were apparently demonstrating against the EU rather than specifically being an anti-immigration march.

    The censorship is also untrue
