No criticism necessary here big man!! like riding a bike clearly!! 😀
Thanks guys
Keith didnt unfortunately have time to look around the various spots you locals frequent, just had to make do with what i got… was inside the Saxon Air hangar picking up the jacks for BWWT to take to Loganair at GLA there was a nice Norwegian chopper in the hangar (never got chance to shoot it tho!)
yes, Aeromexico a lovely catch. Love the glint of the red metallic on the VS
Found it hard to get a decent representative shot of the metallic red…certainly looks far far better in the flesh…
Nice shots here like others my favourite is the Air transat can anyone tell me where you stand to get great shots like this?
Thanks
Jim
Jim
These shots would be from Abbotsinch Rd. which runs alongside the main runway
(although since these shots were taken a new hangar will have popped up beside the GAT… but plenty places along the length of the road for shooting)
All 787’s are grounded.
WOW! i did not know that!! knew there was some teething probs with Japanese ones but didnt realise all were grounded… back at LHR today, popped round to see it..first time i have seen a 787….doesnt look anything special really… thought it would be bigger!!
Thanks
Thanks guys… i thought it might be round there Chris…do you know why it is there???
Matt indeed there were quite a few more B777-300s around too.. i believe the LH A346 was a football charter
Top shots as usual Gary… interesting spot, need to hunt it down when am next around MAN
The rest….

Had no idea that Aer Lingus HAD A319’s..

Great to see an A300 still carrying pax….

Lovely to see a tiffy looking good….
Light was fading but worth waiting… first time i have seen Aeromexico in Europe…
Thats all folks
Welcome back Rab!! 😮
I must have just missed you… was at GLA early on sunday up till the Icelandair 757 then legged it down to PIK..my first visit this year too!!
Good shots man!
What is it?
You are spot on about the Ryanair effect….any operators trying to work from PIK are chased out the door..Wizz had loads more flights when they first started, then RYR went to war and now decimated the Wizz to 4 a week or something, they are holding PIK to ransom…. Wizz will increase their loads by flying from GLA, but, they have to contend with outrageous BAA fees
Yeah the Greek lump was in the same place 2 years ago!
The Donbassaero airbus is a bit old,but probably in fine state.. it was once based at my homedrome GLA years ago when it G-SSAS of My Travel
Driving back through France i popped into Chateauroux on monday afternoon
Some new inmates since my last visit
this NOT a new inmate:
This is new…very tasty cols

Some kind of training device??
This lump been here a while

Thats it for now..
Cheers
Moggie,
Having posted some 50+ photos through Photobucket in the past few days onto another furum, I can now say, having adapted to the new photobucket, I’m now happy with the changesBrian
Brian..perhaps you can help?
I have been trying and trying to revert to the “old” photobucket in vain, the problem i have with the new one is i cant seem to find a way to generate link codes for multiple shots (EG: in the old one you could check a tickbox on any amount of images then at the bottom click “generate IMG codes” or whatever.. i cant find a way of doing this without having to do each image individually??? any advice
