Another excellent selection Paul, for no particular reason the Flybe Emb190 stands out for me, but, all are flawless. Great job.
That’s my excuse for them being rubbish anyway! 🙂
Sheesh Paul… wish my stuff was that rubbish:eek: :dev2: :dev2:
Excellent as usual, nowt you can do about the weather/natural light.
Nice Barry. Thanks for sharing. I really like smoky touchdown shots, you can get some great smoke effects in a luckily timed shot. Nice job.
Thanks for the replies chaps. I thought it was Surinam AW, seemed to be a lot of AMS outbounds on friday, saw a couple of KLM also, and the A320 “chaser plane” was a Martinair 767.
Thanks chaps.
Keith just to confirm what Jim has said, it was indeed the same helo’s you would have seen at that time.
Great stuff Kenny
The Globey 757 is excellent!
Final part:
After LHR a visit to Luton was needed so off on the merry M25 and M1 i went
1 HOUR 20 MINS!!! later:(in no particular order)

Finally… out of curiosity, anyone know whose lump this is overflying LHR?:
Final bit follows……………

Sheesh Tom.. I would’nt say that shot “got it” hehe:dev2: just a shame about that crappy fence!! anyone drive a cherry picker??? 😀 😀
Nice Damian!!
And great timing too!!! like the timing the shots could’nt be better:) usual high standard achieved sir:D
Tom:
Never noticed the green Volvo, but, remember seeing a couple of young lads right at the fence to the bin area by the gate?? possibly you two??. I was mostly hibernating in my wee white van parked at the back beside the staff car park, only venturing out to shoot now and again.
Brilliant shots Kev!! Best from you by a country mile.. simply outstanding… particularly love the text type on white background… and of course the awesome “photobucket” logo in every one… pure class:diablo: :diablo: :diablo:
(Em… i’m being a fud…. can’t see the shots Kev.. kick some photobucket ass and get them back up)
Nice set Tom. VFAB stands out and of course the 2 380 shots:)
Must’ve been standing next to you today (assuming these were shot from the petrol station?). Very amusing how incredibly busy that station got around 1130:dev2:
I may have just pipped you on the mileage… started thursday at 4am in Glasgow, to Warrington, then to Carlisle airport for Dutch AF choppers on maneouvres back to Glasgow, to Edinburgh airport to Kelso to Carlisle airport (Just in time for a nice Canadian AF Challenger 😀 ) to RAF Leeming (nothing doing) on to East Mids in the dark then down to Sunbury on Thames 4 hours kip in the van later, Heathrow today till 1pm, then to Luton till 4pm and back home to Glasgow by 2230:diablo: only 774 shots to sift through before bed!!!
Just back from a marathon run which included LHR and i too was blown away to see a BA 757 with winglets, it is G-BPEK i took a shot of it, but, had to just shoot from inside the van so fence included( crappy fence and the a/c too close to the fence, i doubt any decent shots are possible until it gets moved):
Sorry i know it’s a shocking pic… but you get the idea.:diablo:
