Tony, James, the Jettime was a first for me also, it was doing a SAS flight.
These were shot from the second mound (the one with 2 sections!)at the far end of the car park.
Most were shot with a wee pair of stepladders i carry in the van, which gives enough elevation to clear the fence.
Widdy, the wee red building is a fair bit down the runway from the spot, never had any bother with it at all, No idea why the LTU was in, IIRC they do charters from DUB?? it was lining up as i arrived never had time to put the radio on to hear a callsign.
Final lot from yesterday at DUB:

Thanks for looking.
Brilliant set Fab!
Am guessing you were at the sand mound area near the 02 threshhold?? last time i visited (about a year ago) i could’nt get down the lane leading to this ….some sort of construction going on at the time.. guess it is accessable now?
“Clattery stoor”……
Woody’s shocking spelling coming into play there, Lance.. that should of course read “Clattery Stour”:D 😀 Hope that clears that up for y’all :dev2:
Fabulous set from that wee camera Widdy, good stuff.
Am off to Dublin tonight on a job at 8 am then a pick up in Belfast at 6pm… don’t know what i’ll find to do in all that waiting time  🙂
I believe the Aurigny ATR (G-BDWA)was in Glasgow this morning operating for FlyBe so it may be running around on Flybe flights now.
i dont think speed cameras help they just make money for the Goverment.
As a very high mileage road user i could’nt agree more with that comment, the government do not give a flying toss about safety, only revenue, which is NEVER ploughed back into the roads system.
Also, i know of a few occasions where speed cameras have caused injury and death (one witnessed myself) simply by their being there. The fatal crash i witnessed 4 years ago on the A9 was caused by a guy travelling just above 70 in a 70 zone, spotting the camera late and flinging on his anchors the driver behind going at roughly the same speed did not react quick enough in time to the rapid deceleration in front and ploughed right through the car in front, an elderly couple in the front of the rear car died instantly sadly, the fact of whether a car was driving at 72mph was entirely irrelevant, put simply if the camera was not there the guy in front would not have stupidly slammed his brakes on and an elderly couple would not have lost their lives.
This is not an isolated incident, speed cams have been “unofficially” blamed for several road deaths.. next time you pass a speed camera, if it is safe to do so,have a look at the carriageway just around the camera and see just how many skid marks there are.
