I have been inside a few times lately delivering signage, the place looks very ready now, and, i would think putting in signs would be almost the last thing to happen (Given the fragile nature of the signs, and not wanting them getting wrecked by flying hilti nails!!) the company doing the signs have been given till May (i think) to complete btw.
Since we’re correcting Kevin tonight :dev2: ,the 757 is N754NA (not AT ):o Is’nt this doing a mil charter?, they are quite regular on these details.
Quiet day at PIK then!!!:p :p
Excellent shots, and for any locals the Beluga is staying overnight, leaving wednesday.
Indeed.
However, BAA are to be investigated for using their monopoly on Scottish Airports to route trade to where they want it to go.
Really?? First i’ve heard of this, which should cause a fair bit of upset down Holyrood, could be good for GLA and especially ABZ ,both being heavily strangled!! and in the lead up to the Scottish elections!! Bye bye Jack!:D
Any link to this Sandy?
Seems to have been a 2-3 hour window it was down, and running on back up for half that time, there was 2 fedex and 2 reach flights holding over Tiree for about an hour also apparently….havent been able to find out anything more about it
That be BH Air, not Air Via 😉
Well spotted,Graham…glazed doughnut for you, but they were fairly regular at GLA once upon a time. I think it is correct that the Tu154’s are banned from UK, so looks like an A320 then.
Hi all – long time no post for me, but I was just wondering if anyone had been on one of the above and what they thought of it? I am thinking about going to Brazil with them next year..
Cheers!
Chris
I went on an Ian Allan many many years ago (European Capitals) found the whole experience very well organised, good hotels and good times at airports, this was a coach tour, never been on one of their flying tours…i too have been pondering a big trip with them or Aeroprints next year myself.
Hope this helps.
Welcome to the forum! 🙂
Never flown them, but, they are very regular visitors to UK airports during the summer, i have never really heard anything negative about them….they fly A320 and TU154 aircraft(which are being phased out and replaced by TU 204’s)
Hope this helps.
Oh…….when you get to Lapland…can you remind them ….A 100-500 Canon fit IS lens…AND i HAVE been a good boy this year. cheers:D
Spot on stuff there,Lance..
CHILLY!!!!!:eek:you say…. i had to shoot continuously cos my finger got frozen to my shutter button:diablo: Were you up beside me?? your shots look a wee bit further down the runway..
Cheers guys.
Agreed Damian better from the “darkside”, but they really need a ski lift installed there 😮 murderous hike in the mud:mad:
Phil, i am wondering if that is a new A330, not too up on the reg’s this weather, but, don’t recall seeing that one before………
Jamie..IF (big if) they start, i would expect A330, at least to start with,as EK done 🙂 I’m expecting to see a different Asian carrier at GLA before they start……..
I guess it is not bad, just watching it on the video sitting for what seems like an age, by contrast a BMI ERJ done an emergency landing at MAN today, full emergency response, and the fire wagons were at it before it had even come to a halt (non event in the end, thankfully) Not having a pop at the emergency guys at BHX,all these guys everywhere do an awesome job, just an observation.:)
Awesome!!! 707 STILL the best looking aircraft on the planet.
Bloody shame about that mental fence 😡 , looks like a temporary fence?? or is it there for good?
Interesting video that… Anyone else think the fire guys took an age to reach it after it stopped??
Thanks lads:
The learjet is a 35A variant, flying ambulance machine.
James, i’m a courier (White van terrorist!!):dev2:
Hmmm, couldnt afford to finish the paint job??:D 😀
Never heard of this airline, are they another new loco mob? Any info on routes etc…
Good stuff Peter in poor circumstances, take it you never got a shot of the Air Memphis 320 then?
