My opinion: I don’t think there’ll be a guilty verdict.

The facts of the case would seem to indicate otherwise.

I don’t think he’ll spend any more time in prison, though, whether military or civilian.

Surely much of this debate is just what was once described as good manners.
If you use language aimed at another which is offensive, derogatory or otherwise insulting, then political correctness doesn’t come in to it.
It’s just bad manners.
