There’s a word to describe the buying and selling of human beings, isn’t there?

    Rhymes with ‘unsavoury’.

Which seems more than a little apt, in fact.

It’s NOT about the money. It’s about trying to help with what means you DO have.

You were the one who was quoting market prices for human children, Ryan. No-one else here has placed a cash value on a human life.

    Gentlemen,

This is starting to get a little too personal now.

Please discuss the subject of the thread, and not one another.

    Thanks

Agreed. He’s taken fame and fortune. He’s messed up id say it’s fair game.

    Agreed here, too.

Once you place yourself in a position where you earn your living in the public domain, then you can’t reasonably expect to enjoy the same degree of privacy and anonymity as Joe Punter on the street. (Or on the Internet, for that matter.)

Maybe it shouldn’t be that way, but that’s certainly how it is.

And I’m perfectly sure that BumbleBee had every intention of including the word “allegedly” in her first sentence, and that its omission was an innocent oversight on her part……

    …….M’lud. 😎

If a component is faulty and the airline has reported that to Boeing, and Boeing has allowed it to continue flying , then they could well be the firing line

Is there any evidence that this was the case?

The “Waldorf salad” episode is apparently based, at least in part, on a dispute between the proprietor and Terry Gilliam concerning table manners.

Unless of course, what they are trying to say is there is a generic fault with the Rad Alt. that Boeing knows about and has has done nothing about it, which I find hard to beleive.

And how likely is that, given the numbers of the type in service around the world?

The real report is not out, and the Telegraaf is not the best source of information. It’s kind a like “The Sun” for the Netherlands.

    That figures.
